just needed it to boot a MB without flash button to update bios to accommodate gen3 AMD processor. Was surprised basic performance was as close to Zen3 Ryzen 5 5500 (replacement). Up graded the MB to install WIN 11. NOW I have a known good processor for testing in the future.

Too limited for modern computer builds. You can only use 2400 mhz ram. Additionally, you can only use 300 series motherboards.

Bought this CPU as a testing CPU, but motherboard didn't even power on. Checked with a multimeter between the vcore and ground, and there is a short.
