Amazon Basics Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Display Cable, 4Kx2K, Gold-Plated Plugs, 1.8 m, Black

This cable was purchased to connect a MacBook mid-2012 running MacOS Sonoma to a Dell Monitor at 4k resolution. The mini Thunderbolt port connected to the Dell's DisplayPort and the screen was instantly recognised. Settings were changed to extend the desktop and the set up worked well with the cable straight out of the box. The cable itself is sturdy with a good black rubber covering and also with sturdy rubberised connection ends. At less than £10.00 it was very good value for money I thought.

Cheap, good quality, good length and works well. Can't really ask for much more than that!

Excellent cables for my use with a 2nd computer on the same monitors as my main computer uses. I don’t need expensive cables as they are connected to a GTX 1080 on my games machine.

Hard to beat price and quality. Avoid the nonsense and stick to the basics :-)

Build quality is good but very few reviews here can speak to the signal quality

Bought this cable because I needed Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort and didn’t fancy sacrificing a goat to afford one of those “premium” options. Newsflash: it’s digital. The signal either gets there or it doesn’t – it’s not whispering secrets through copper like a Victorian telegram. This Amazon Basics cable does the job perfectly. My monitor didn’t explode, and I didn’t have to remortgage the house. Unless your setup involves summoning a demon at 240Hz in 16K, save your money.

Günstig, gut und funktionell. Man benötigt keine teuren Produkte bei soetwas, wenn die günstigen genau so gut funktionieren.

Totalmente recomendable ! Lo necesitaba para enlazar mi laptop a un monitor ultra-ancho (widescreen 21:9) y tener la resolución apropiada para ese amcho de pantalla. Con el cable se obtiene sin problema, solo conectando. Excelente opción, totalmente recomendable.
