Smooth real
Works smooth. Bought this reel for pan fish. I used it twice. Everything worked great. Appears to be a great companion for my ultralight rod.

Good reel for someone starting to spend time figuring out how to fish
It’s good after two years use. Caught many fish. Still hold up fine. Maybe because I dropped in the river too many times, It’s not as smooth as it used to be when turning the handle. Also, when bait fishing, the drag click sound on this reel is quieter than all my other 10 reels, but the drag is super smooth. Not light but solid, still expect it to catch fish for next few years. 4 star because it’s not obviously better than other reel in this price range while using, may be the long-term durability will shine.
