The earpiece is pretty durable, but the front camera is not and will probably be permanently blurry afterward -it would be a good idea to just get a new one for 7-8 dollars. Disassembly is very easy once you get past the adhesive holding the back panel on, which can be done with 5 min in the oven at lowest setting.
