Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version)

I am so glad Taylor made this version available for fans. This is one of those rare albums where I genuinely love every single song—there isn't a single track I skip. It’s an incredible re-recording and an absolute must-have for any Swiftie’s collection. Highly recommended!

Already had the previous release of 1989 but after watching Taylor's documentary about how she was treated by her record label I bought it again because it made me feel good.

Can't go far wrong with Taylor, I bought this as a gift and it went down very well. Easy listening.

First time hearing this album and I like almost half the songs. Others may need to grow on me still. The taylor version has more songs than the original as it also contains vault tracks so that makes it more appealing.

Hmm….. 🤔 Reviewing an album that you know backwards concerning the original and comparing it to the NEW 2023 version is slightly weird. Last week, I purchased a copy of Taylor Swift’s epic 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Album. Right! you Swiftie Fans, the main question you want answering is, is this 2023 version as good or better than the 2014 version. The answer to that is unreservedly YES it is BETTER. I‘m presuming Taylor recorded these new vocals in the last couple of years when her voice is probably the best it’s ever going to sound from your early thirties. That said her vocals from the original 1989 Album aren’t to shabby particularly when you consider she was twenty five when recording them. But in my opinion her vocals are on this version are definitely better, more polished and definitely sounding cleaner. On the music, that we’re it becomes a little more divisive in whether it’s better or not. The production though of this particular version (Taylor’s Version) is definitely better. Look! when I bought the 2014 version of 1989 I was blown away by how a twenty five year old was just so articulate, funny, witty and so damn sexy. And this 2023 version has definitely cemented my thoughts that - Taylor Alison Swift that this young Woman is definitely THE REAL DEAL. ♥️🫶🏻♥️

We love this cd. Great for all ages. We were lucky enough to see eras tour and these songs are a great way to spend time listening to Taylor Swift. Myself and my grandkids love it. Highly recommend it to any fan of any age.
