This is fine. What is not fine is the amount of noise their old classic bottle would make as they drank - I love my ratties, but I'm a light sleeper and I really really really don't love being woken up at 4am because of the tap-tap-tap noise. I bought this specifically because I wanted a quieter bottle for them and I'm happy to say that thanks to buying this, I haven't slept so well in months.I picked the medium size and after ordering the bottle arrived quickly and was simple to install - my rats have a traditional wire cage and all I had to do was wiggle the nozzle of the bottle through the bars (I'd advise placing it higher than you usually would as it points downwards - I had to adjust mine a few times as it was too low for my poor ratties), then reach down into the cage and screw in the yellow plastic piece. Done!My rats got to grips with this pretty quickly with no difficulty, mine doesn't drip or leak despite this being mentioned a lot in other reviews, and this thing is reaaaally, truly quiet. Blissfully so. Because of the flat front and the grey holder there's no noise from it wiggling around against the bars like the old sippy bottle did. I can sleep through it and can't hear it at all with my headphones in, and best of all my rats seem to like it. Brilliant while they last. Sadly three out of my six have broken within the last couple of weeks. Would still reccomend them would just say keep a spare on hand. One emptied its contents over the cage and two have stopped allowing water out so check regularly :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Get one, They're Brilliant! *by J***P on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2016* These are so much better than the sippy bottles with a ball. Hardly ever drips, and even survives a car journey with not much spillage! Fills from the top so you don't need to remove it from the cage every time. Drinking spout comes apart to clean, but don't throw away the plastic 'spanner' or you wont be able to take it apart. Has both suckers or a screw mount included depending on where you need it placed. If using the screw mount through cage bars the whole bottle slides out leaving the fittings in place so I don't need to reposition it every time I wash it. Medium size was big enough for my guinea pig.
