This works exactly as advertised and was an easy install. I got it for my 3D printer so that the fumes don't flow through the house when it's in use. I did have to buy a dryer hose separate, but this entire setup makes me feel at ease when I'm printing. It seems to be very durable, and it is made in a way that it fits in a regular window and does not allow insects to get in very easily.

Very clean looking! The bottom louver doesn't want to blow out too much but the top two louvers do. I'm using a powerful exhaust too, so it should blow all three open. Not sure why it's being stubborn. This vent worked perfectly with a 4 inch insulated dryer hose. I love the silver foil tape that came with it. I believe I was supposed to use it to seal the dryer vent better, but I used the foam insulation they sent with it, and that was enough. I wouldn't want to put the foil on this anyway. I ended up using it to reinforce attaching my dryer hose. That could be what the silver tape was for as well, but it was kind of thin like weather seal tape so not sure. It was not listed in the instructions. Either way it was much appreciated. This was such a better value than galvanized steel.

Worked great to hookup to my laser cutter and exhaust the fumes out the window. We did add better insulation tape. Other than that easy to install.

I purchase this for my laser. So I could vent it out the window to keep the smells out of my room. It fits my window pretty well and seals pretty decent. You are not going to get 100 percent of the wood burning smell out of the house but with an inline fan, you will keep most out. I did not purchase this for my dryer as we have one built into our basement wall for that. But for what I'm using it for, it works well for me. I cannot attach a photo at the moment as I have taken it out for our cold winters. But for those of you looking to vent your laser out of the house, this works pretty well.

Love the idea however there is a problem when the two magnets are disconnected. The part that is on the dryer faces towards the floor because it is heavy. Then when you push the dryer towards the wall and the other magnet it can not connect because it is facing downwards. I used sheet metal tape to prevent the magnet from falling downwards.

I have a dryer that uses a 120v plug standard household as we don't have the larger 220v so we had to place our dryer near a window and we used a generic air conditioner vent to hold the hose in place which was sufficient but obviously not the proper way. Finally got this for our dryer and the assembly process is same as the assembly for the a/c vent window kit.
