Review: Buy new set of batteries to be safe - UPDATED The tablet works great now, i went ahead and got brand new batteries (the two in the included must have been old or very low quality) and it fixed the issue, only thing to be mindful is if you apply too much pressure it can leave semi permanent marks on the writing surface, they will go away eventually but will take lots of use. Original one side works amazing, its and lcd screen so you need light for it to work (its not a digital screen) the version i purchased is double sided which i thought was neat, but after a day of using it as a scratch pad for math the smaller of the two sides stopped erasing all the way. It only leaves a half faded image when you press the erase button. I'm going to keep it because the other side still works great and takes up the entire tablet size and attaches the stylus magnetically. This time needed a bigger one so got this one. Great size. Front and back use with individual erase bottom. Replaceable battery and it comes with an extra battery. Pen is magnetic so it adheres to the bottom of the tablet. Not heavy, but not feather weight. Easy to use. Excellent quality and craftsmanship.
