This small pocket knife has been a really practical addition to my everyday carry. The blade feels sharp and well made right out of the box, and it opens and closes smoothly with just one hand. I tried it by cutting boxes and it worked great. However, I couldn’t close it. I was afraid to force it too hard and accidentally cutting myself. So I started watching the videos. Jackpot! You need to push the piece with the grooves in the housing out of the way and it closes so easily. I attached it to my keychain. Hopefully I’ll remember how to close it the next time.

I was tempted to rate this with 4 stars due to the more challenging nature of closing the knife, but after working with it I realized that it was doable if you know where you place your fingernail in the liner lock system. See the picture provided. You need to 'choke up' on the liner lock closer to the blade, not back away from it. Admittedly, for women with longer nails this is going to be difficult and I would imagine impractical. But I wasn't sure downgrading the rating was fair for that reason. Every knife has its own challenges depending on what you expect or the kind of convenience you want. Not every knife will work for every person. This little knife, no doubt due in large part to its very small size, is not designed to be a quick open knife. It requires two hands, like traditional slip joint folders. But for safety reasons I think that may be good. The blade is small, but it could be dangerous if opened too hastily. Two-handed opening adds a layer of safety. It locks securely, which also seems to have been a complaint in some reviews. After the second 'click' the blade is very secure and will not retract back. The carabiner extends the 'handle' of the knife and makes it more workable in an average hand. It is often advertised as a 'box cutter', and for most people that will be its main use. So one should not expect a small knife like this to compete with full-size folders. Overall I am pleased with this knife. I have yet to find all the uses it is capable of, but will carry it and explore its possibilities.

I have needed a small knife to travel with as I frequently need to cut zip ties off of shipping boxes or cut the tape on boxes that were taped up. This knife folds down small, is very portable due to the clip, small but not too small. It works perfectly. IT's a really great little knife. I will probable purchase a second one to have on our boat for emergencies.

I like this little fella. Easy to open but is says "Push left on the front of the liner lock, release lock to close knife". I found this difficult to accomplish, resorted the assist of a small flat screwdriver to push left in the front liner lock in order to release and close knife. I wish there was an easier way to close this knife and to keep it open if a hazard. Think before purchasing.

This is one of those things that you use more that you think you would. Just clip on your belt loop and it’s there when you need it. Easy to unclip for use. Sharp and ready to go. Bobby
