Does the backpack sit up right or does it fall over when placed on the floor?

It is intended to stand by itself, if you pack it correctly that is. Be sure to load any bottles in the side pockets first, then load the heaviest items toward the bottom and against the back. Pack light items toward the front and top.

Can this be attached to the handles of my rolling luggage?

There is no sleeve on the back that will slip over your rolling luggage handle, but it still can be done. If you pull the shoulder harness straps as tight as they will go, and connect the sternum strap, you can slide it over the handle and it should stay on top of your suitcase well.

Is the backpack waterproof and would a 15.6-16inch laptop fit? Also does a slim hydro flask water bottle fit on the sides??

hi there, the backpack itself can hold that big of a laptop, but the sleeve is smaller at 12.75x11. Usually all TNF packs are pretty weather resistant so should be good for the rain. It also has two side pockets where you would definitely be able to fit a hydro flask in there.

Is the jester 22l or 27l?. i am finding conflicting info. or are there different versions of the jester (ie classic, luxe).
