I bought it to make Japanese fluffy soufflé pancake just like Flipper’s does. It’s quite well made, but the website sizing is not accurate. The width is much larger than 2”, which is exactly what I need. See the photo attached.

This scoop is the perfect size if you want to make sure every cupcake is the same size.

I make my own dog food and bought this so I can easily scoop I cup at a time in to bags to freeze. It is good quality. Works well. The only reason I have 4 stars and not 5 is because the price that secures the swiping mechanism in place sticks out farther than I’d like and food gets caught around it which make it a messier process than I’d like. If your your for a purpose that the protrusion won’t make a difference then it would be a five star item.

I use this for portion control. A portion of starchy carbs is usually 3/4 of a cup. I use this one cup serving to be real with myself. 2 scoops is 2 portions. It keeps me honest with myself on how much I’m eating. Also good for family dinners, to let everyone portion themselves.

I bought two scoops, aiming to replace a pair of scoops that I had used regularly for cookies for about 5 years.These scoops could not make it through more than 3 cookies before they broke. They are so poorly made and made of such low quality materials that the metal handle bent out of shape on the first use. Then the metal slider inside the cup bent so much it couldn’t get the dough out.This product is absurdly low quality. A total waste of resources.
