Helioclipse 6/12/25/50/100 Pack Solar Eclipse Glasses 2026 ISO 12312-2

When you wear glasses on a daily basis, you learn how few products are actually designed with glasses in mind. Even protective glasses may be limited to one or two "over-the-lens" options. Initially, with this design, I was just glad that it was possible to hold them in front of my glasses and still see clearly through both. But, I was thrilled when I discovered that they were small enough to work in a "under-the-lens" fashion instead. When I could put them on first and then put my glasses on over top of them and see perfectly fine. That really made them very convenient and I only wish the clouds in the sky had been so cooperative. Another thing which I wound up loving was the fact it was a 12-pack. I only needed 2 pair myself and considered the last-minute sale price to actually be reasonable for the likelihood of only using 2 of the 12. However, last minute, I took the rest to work with me and co-workers were extremely grateful for that. Some had forgotten theirs. Some had never been able to find any themselves. And even those who had found them, because of the sheer effort it had taken, were very appreciative that, even if they hadn't ultimately found any, there was still going to be some for them to have used. It really became a great and easily team outing. Something I'd learn the next day a company on another floor had also done because someone there had also bought a multi-pack to share with all of their co-workers. One of my co-workers, who had given his spares to some people at other stores that had helped him try to find them had remarked that he could easily have charged $20 each at that point for them. But, I agree with him and whoever else took care of their co-workers ... these are really the perfect types of sets to pick up and remember that it really doesn't take much to generate a lot of happiness. So, regardless of whatever size multi-pack you get (6, 12, 25, 50, etc etc), don't think of it as "paying for more than you need". Think instead of who might also enjoy the extras.

We were all excited for the solar eclipse, but I had forgotten to purchase glasses because... life. Honestly, the main reason I ordered these particular glasses was because of the next day shipping since we needed them quick. Also, because although I didn't need 12 pairs, I would have been paying the same for 4 or less with other companies, so my kids went to school with extras for friends that didn't have them. Also, these are AAS approved and that was a necessity. These glasses are extremely high quality. You put them on, and you can't see a THING... Unless you are looking at the sun. Which right away, told me I chose the right glasses. So, in my part of Pennsylvania, the day of the eclipse turned out to be an extremely cloudy day. I caught a glimpse of a partial eclipse once or twice, but for the most part, we got robbed, lol. The overcast day made the eclipse pretty underwhelming for us. However, we tested these glasses the sunny day before, and the sunny day (ironically) after the eclipse, and I can say with confidence that these glasses are legit. I can stare directly into the sun with absolutely no problem wearing these. Not staring into the sun, I'd have a problem because I couldn't see at all, lol. These were more than worth the price paid for them, even if Mother Nature wasn't cooperating.

They look OK for solar eclipse glasses and the one for the cellphone camera is a nice size and covers 3 cameras on iPhone without a problem.

I purchased these for the big solar eclipse of 2024. I was a little hesitant to do so because I had heard that there were so many scams going around. I took the leap of faith and glad that I did. The glasses are decent quality for being disposable and probably only being used once in my lifetime. They were not very comfortable and kind of worked like bifocals, where I could look past them and see around me and when I looked through them, they were pitched black. The best way to describe how they work are they are like welder's goggles. Everything is pitch black except for the bright spot, which in this case is the sun. I was able to comfortably watch the total eclipse. The glasses barely fit my face. They seem more suitable for children, even though I made it work. While watching the eclipse, I had a great idea. Cut one of the lenses off of a pair and put it on my phone's camera lense and see if I would get some pics and videos. Low and behold it worked. It was a bit far, but you could see it very clearly. I was amazed. These glasses did what they were supposed to do and protected my eyes during the hour and a half solar eclipse. I was able to see this once in a lifetime event as it happened in my hometown. I was glad that I purchased these glasses I was pleased with them. I highly recommend them for eclipse viewing.

Excellent quality. Came as expected

Each viewer is individually wrapped in clear plastic, easy to open and reusable. So if you plan to pass them around at an eclipse (there's a dozen in the box I bought) no one will hesitate to accept them. And after use they can be repackaged for the next event, not stuffed in a drawer somewhere collecting dust. Strings to attach to the temples are packaged loose in the box. They're a nice touch, easily secured to the viewers through pre-punched holes, just tie a knot. You can let them hang from your neck when not in use. They are cardboard with plastic filters, so some care is required in use, if only for a single eclipse. Also included in the box (I hadn't noticed when I ordered) are two iPhone filters. Cool. For the price they are great. And they work, providing a clear image. Familiarize yourself with their use by observing the un-eclipsed sun. Included are safety notices, read them!

Since our family has teachers, we've used quite a few of similar eclipse glasses. DO NOT look directly at the sun without proper protection! And, even with these glasses, DO NOT stare at the sun for very long! That said, as long as you're careful and, these glasses will provide protection within reason, giving you the ability to get a decent look at the effects of an eclipse. This is an affordable way to make sure you can gain the educational benefits of personally observing a rare astronomical event without burning your eyes out. The glasses themselves are basically just paperboard frames glued to something like thin tinfoil. They appear to be opaque, but bright light like the sun actually does show through them. Even with the glasses, you should not look at the sun directly for too long, but these glasses fit an adult's head better than many others - certainly enough to be comfortable for as long as you ought to be using them.

Muy buen kit y más barato que otras alternativas. Si encima lo pillas con un buen precio, es una opción imprescindible. Todas las gafas vienen en su bolsita sellada y el kit para usarlo con una cámara se agradece. Hay que recordar que estos filtros no dejan ver casi nada (obvio) para protegerte de los rayos DIRECTOS del sol, por lo que no esperes poder usarlo más allá de ver eclipses solares. -------- ACTUALIZACIÓN 13 AGOSTO 2026 -------- Tras probarlo con el eclipse, puedo corroborar que funciona perfectamente. Las correas para sujetarlas son perfectas para ir viendo a ratos el sol (IMPORTANTE: máximo 3 min seguidos para no dañar la vista) y en los descansos, dejarlas colgando en el cuello. El disco para la cámara del movil es útil, aunque el problema que tiene es que, salvo que tengas una cámara con buen zoom, apenas vas a ver un punto naranja en el cielo y muy pequeño. PEGAS: - Según indica la OCU, debe aparecer la fecha de fabricación de las gafas. En este caso NO LO PONE en ningún sitio. Aun así, han servido y no han causado daños o molestias en los ojos. Los reutilizaré para el eclipse del 2 Agosto 2027 y el del 2028

Très bonnes lunettes ! Nous venons de les utiliser pour l'éclipse en France. Aucun problème, elles sont bien aux normes CE ISO 12312-2. Et le filtre pour les smartphone et très bien pour éviter d'endommager son telephone. Cependant, il a fallu que je me mette en mode pro sur mon telephone pour avoir de belles photos avec le filtre. Mais au moins l'objectif n'est pas endommagé
