If you're looking for actual professional gear, this is not the tech you seek. I bought this microphone for gaming and casual desktop chatting with friends. I've used it for a couple weeks now and no issues. At first there is static, yes, which is especially annoying if you have the monitoring cranked up. But as long as you upgrade the software that comes with it, the static will be filtered out and the audio is clear. The strength of this mic is its aesthetic! I got the pink model, which is a gorgeous pastel color. The RGB lighting is smooth and super fun! I have it on when I'm not using the mic, and it's been running smoothly for 2 weeks straight now. I love that it comes with a windscreen, too! And yes, for all who have been on the edges of their seats, you can attach a friend to it without.
