Cuts branches up to its stated maximum capacity with ease. So much easier than long handled geared pruners which have been using previously for larger branches. Battery (5ah) seems to last forever! Usual high quality associated with Dewalt tools. Highly recommended.

Very handy so far. I used it to trim loose hedge ends and it handled the job well without any issues. It feels comfortable in the hand, isn’t too heavy, and has a solid, well-made feel to it. The cutting performance seems good and it feels more than capable for general garden jobs. Happy with it so far and would recommend it.

This is a brilliant set of shears - we recently moved to a house with lots of overgrown hedges and bushes, and I was dreading the thought of pruning with manual shears for days and days. These made the daunting chore virtually effortless, and can cut surprisingly thick branches. Another bonus is that the battery seems to last forever - we haven't had to recharge it once after many days of extreme gardening! Highly recommended and well worth the price if you have serious pruning to do.

Best Garden Tool I own!

I'm a gardener and equipped with all the usual array of tools required. But, its pruning season and my hand is getting a real kicking with repetitive secateur action causing great discomfort. I suffer with my hand grip anyway so invested in the Dewalt power secateur. First use appeared a little bulky, obviously when I'm used to my Niwaki Japanese manual shears but I soon got used to this. It's incredibly sharp, a quick cut and release action, and actually quite comfortable to use. I'm a Dewalt follower anyway so use the batteries on other tools. I'd suggest at least using the 2 AH batteries or higher if your intending to use it on a mission. I was very impressed how quick I condensed the branch remains of a fruit tree into a garden waste bin! With the 3 year warranty and it's a no brainer. The safety switch is initially fiddly but it's there for a reason. Best gadget I've purchased for ages!!! Don't waste your money on another brand. This tool has awesome cutting power. Whistles through pruning jobs with ease. Even larger branches. Beats trapping my fingers in the manual ones.

Amazing tool. The scariest tool I own, but absolutely brilliant. The amount of branches you can get through is ridiculous compared to secateurs. If it's fresh branches and if it can fit in the jaws then it'll go through it. At worst it needs a couple of bites at it, if you're pushing your luck with branch diameter. My advice would be to hold anything you're chopping up with a closed fist and without your thumb sticking out. These can make you work so fast that it can be easy to forget that one wrong finger position and you're going to need a bag of frozen peas to put that missing digital in. Once the cut starts, it doesn't stop, so there's no room for error. No pair of strong gloves is going to save you from ruining your career as a pianist. Despite this, its well worth the money. Chopping up the branches to get them in the compost or garden waste used to be the part I hated, but now its much less of a chore.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von der DEWALT DCMPP568N Akku-Astschere! Wer regelmäßig im Garten arbeitet oder Bäume und Sträucher professionell pflegt, wird dieses Werkzeug schnell zu schätzen wissen. Mit einer Schnittkapazität von bis zu 38 mm schafft die Schere selbst dickere Äste ohne Probleme – schnell, sauber und ohne großen Kraftaufwand. Die Antihaft-Beschichtung sorgt dafür, dass nichts klebt oder verklebt, und die Schnitte sind wirklich präzise. Das Gerät liegt super in der Hand, und der vordere Handschutz sowie der Sicherheitsschalter geben ein sicheres Gefühl beim Arbeiten. Sehr hilfreich ist auch das integrierte LED-Arbeitslicht, das beim Arbeiten in dunkleren Ecken für gute Sicht sorgt – eine kleine, aber durchdachte Funktion, die ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Ich nutze bereits andere DEWALT-Geräte mit 18V-Akku, daher war für mich die Lieferung ohne Akku und Ladegerät kein Problem – der Wechsel zwischen den Geräten klappt nahtlos. Fazit: Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Akku-Astschere für alle, die Wert auf Leistung, Sicherheit und Komfort legen. Hochwertig verarbeitet, kraftvoll und dabei angenehm leicht – DEWALT-Qualität, wie man sie kennt!
