I’ve had 2 thumb splints in 2 weeks and the fabric keeps separating from the velcro.** A: Mine has to, I wash them by hand no washing machine, I work retail so they take wear and tare! I sometimes wear a disposable glove over them. **Q: What do you recommend if this brace makes the top of your hand itch and burn?** A: I use it with an arthritis cream but if it makes you itch you could launder it in your regular detergent or Woolite in hopes it will soften it or remove an irritant. What does this mean?** A: I don't know what that means, but I use the splint at work all the time and it works great at relieving pressure and discomfort where I need it to. **Q: My measurement is 20 cm; there are three sizes with that number. A medium was too small. Should I go with a medium plus or a large?** A: My measurement was in the Medium plus range in inches(7 1/4-8 1/4) ..If the medium was just a little tight then you may want to do medium plus.
