Torx Head Wood Screw Trial Pack

Used with Torx driver bits in drill/driver. Unlike Phillips head screws, the driver bit does not cam out of the screw head as soon as the screw meets a bit of resistance. The screws come in a divider box with a good selection of various sizes. I use magnetic bits though you can purchase magnetic retainer sleeves that fit over existing non magnetic driver bits to make sure the screws stay on the bits. All screws are 'gold' anodized to prevent rusting.

Yes it is - a wide range of TX head screws which is all I use nowadays as they are brilliant to install and uninstall with the correct bit - avoids the problems of a posidriv type turning into a cone , and seem to be weatherproof as I have used the same screws for 4 years in the garden for various uses. generally , do not need a predrilled hole in softwood , but benefit from this in hardwood. fine to use in all types of wallplug , can be used in plaster/wallboard without predrilling for smaller holes

Delivered two days before expected, (Excellent). Quality of screws, first class and the sizes cover all the jobs I am likely to do. The case is also great, as you tip it upside down etc. and everything stays nicely in place. Good strong plastic case. Highly recommended.

The screws are great. Torx screwdrivers are so much more secure in the screwhead than Pozis. I don’t ever want to use a Pozi again if I can avoid it. Good screws, good range of sizes (though I will never use that many of the tiny ones) The only improvement needed is in the case, one of the two catches just doesn’t stay clipped, resulting in screws spilling out. With a better made case, these screws would be perfect.
