The North Face Women's Borealis Backpack

Bag is too heavy itself. Other aspects are fine

Looking to replace a current 30L backpack and get something a little smaller for work. The colors (boysenberry/ fiery red) of the women’s Borealis are gorgeous. The zippers work well, the 2 side pockets are tall and fit my water bottle easily. I like the organization of the bag, but the front organizer pocket needs to go down to the bottom as when I put anything in it, it made the bag top heavy and difficult to get things out of the compartment behind it. I could have dealt with that except the shoulder straps are so uncomfortable. The structure of the shoulder straps is fine- they are curved - but they are so stiff. When I tried putting my stuff in the bag, it felt heavy and the straps felt hard on my shoulders. I really wanted to keep the bag but in the end returned it.

Sturdy bag as expected from north face but I don’t like the lay out of the smaller front pockets. Not very good for organizing smaller items.

Had this for over a year now and has nearly no signs of wear. I get so many complements on the color and I use all the straps when I ride with it on my motorcycle and those have held up well also. Had a Dr. Pepper syrup machine explode at work and soaked this bag, I thought it would be stained and ruined but it washed out really well. Highly recommend :)
