I buy these cost effective plastic sheets to make various wood working jigs. They are easy to work as they saw , drill and tap well. The cut surface is smooth and slightly slippery which is good for jigs where sliding is required. These ones are better quality, thick, and don't seem to mark as much as shop bought ones. I've had my meat one for a few years, but wanted one for veggies as we eat a lot of fruit and veg. They wash great and are a must and work out a lot cheaper than the cheap ones that last a year if you are lucky where these thick ones last years.
