Great work watch
Ya know, for a little over 100$, you can't beat this watch. I work construction, and It's held up way better than expected. -Titanium is machined well, lightweight, and sturdy. It's been banged up pretty good, and it's barely marked -The watch and strap weigh just about nothing, so it's quite comfortable -Sapphire glass doesn't have a scratch! -it runs 5-10 seconds slow a day (well within spec of the nh35) And on top of all that, it looks great

Accurate by +/- 8 sec, good build quality
Accuracy: -8 to 10 sec seconds each day measure by chrono log. Build quality good Weight : lightweight easy on he wrist Strap: I changed to leather strap. The one with the watch I did not like, works well though No noise with seconds I don’t know if it’s really sapphire crystal glass but seems durable , no scratches . Might have to clean the borders often as the glass sits below the circular face of the watch . Has Chinese day along with English. The crown is locked in place which is awesome . Overall excellent automatic watch for the price. If debating to buy, no doubt go ahead. A very good buy. Nicely done boderry.

Excellent timepiece for the price
I've been a collector for almost 30 years. I mostly have mid-range divers but I've dabbled in just about everything. I would normally not be interested in a Chinese watch but this "boutique" brand caught my attention and I didn't currently have a field watch. Titanium, automatic movement, sapphire crystal, screw down crown at this price point... I figured it was kind of a no brainer. Boy was I right. There is nothing I don't love about this except I don't think it has actual Super-Luminova, hence the 4 stars. So far the Seiko NH35 movement has been more accurate than several of my Prospex Seikos. For those reviewers who experienced a hiccup with the second hand, I've never heard of or seen that happen on any Seiko so unfortunately I think you just got a lemon. The strap that was included with mine is a Zulu which I prefer over a NATO. One of my favorite things is the art deco type flair of the lugs. I've never seen that on any other field watch and it makes this one unique. The online photos don't really do it justice. I forgot to mention that the rings on the strap are actually titanium as well, increasing the value and a nice touch. Buy one - you won't be disappointed. Great job Boderry! Improve your lume and you will be fantastic.

High quality for the price.
This is the best field watch I've ever owned. For around 100.00 you get solid titanium case, sapphire crystal, dependable and highly accurate Japanese nh35 movement. The other reviews say there's a clunky sound when wearing this watch i don't hear it in mine. The myota 8215 makes that sound but definitely not the nh35. If you are on the fence about getting this time piece , don't be. It's a good watch.

Long Term Review - Start 8/30/24
INITIAL IMPRESSION: UPON RECEIVING IT ON 8/30/24 ... I LOVE THIS WATCH !!! RATTLING NOISE: 9/6/24: OH NO !!! After 6 days, I hear a rattle inside the watch !!! Was it always there? I don't think so !!! Does anyone hear a rattle in their watch? Please let me know if someone's review mentioned it. Couple of people said it was probably the self winding rotor. Sounds kind of loud. It is a "clunk-clunk" sound (dial face coming towards me and away from me) rather than a "shwoosh-shwoosh" sound of the rotor spinning (shaking in the direction pf 3-9-3-9 o'clock). 9/8/24: RETURN and REPLACE. The "clunk-clunk" rattling is just too much for me to tolerate. I really wanted to love this watch. Demoting from 5 stars to 1 star. I am giving it 1 star for the fact that low end mechanical watches are always an acceptable toss of the dice for the industry and its consumers. If the replacement is also bad, then I'll take away the 1 star. 9/12/24: Replacement watch ALSO have the clunk-clunk sound! Downgrade from 5 to 1 star. 9/14/24: Did more research. Apparently Seiko NH35, and many other movements, the rotor can move up/down when shaken in that direction, resulting in that clunk-clunk rattle I hear. Side to side movement will have the normal shwoosh-shwoosh rotating sound. So, per a couple of YouTube video, it is normal. Upgrading back to 5 stars. The clunk sound is still annoying. Although it is not loud. Only my OCD brain hears it. ACCURACY: 21 hours since I received the watch. Slow by 5 seconds. That is considered good since I read that mechanical automatic watches are usually +/-30 seconds per day. My old Russian Vostok speeds up and slows down depending on the time of day and the state of the winding spring. So, different days different time loss or gain. I will check this Boderry Voyager on this issue going forward. 9/7/24: Watch #1 ... 29s slow after 187h ..... -3.72 s/d. 9/14/24: Watch #2 ... after 44h ..... -25.5 sec ..... -13.87s/d. Installed an app that measures accuracy and displays it as s/d. Watch dial face up lying flat = 0 s/d !!! In normal use, most times during the day, it is 3 or 12 down. 3 o'clock down (standing with arm hanging down) = -15 s/d 12 o'clock down (sitting at a desk with forearm on the the desk = -15 s/d 9/15/24: Watch #2 ... Up till now, I worn the watch 24/7. I reduced the total average over 64 hours, by letting it lie flat for 8 hours last night, to 9.75 s/d. So, how you wear the watch matters a lot. Different for everybody. Some only when they go out, otherwise lie flat. Some 24/7. WRIST STRAP: Comes with a single strap 3 ring Zulu strap. Heavy coarse woven nylon instead of the lighter weight NATO strap. Hardware larger and more heavy duty oval ring compared to a rectangular shaped ring NATO strap. The single strap is quite thick and fits around the spring bars and case tight. The risk of the watch slipping off when removed from the wrist. The tip end of the strap has 2 raised stitching bumps making it more difficult to just slide through the gap between the case and spring bar. The thickness, stiffness, and heavy hardware conveys confidence and robustness. I wish the holes are closer for better resolution in adjustment. One hole is too tight, the next hole is too loose. 9/4/24: It's my first time using a Zulu or NATO strap. This Zulu strap keeps the bottom of the watch case off my skin. No more uncomfortable sweat sticking. The strap is breathable makes the skin feels a lot more comfortable than a metal bracelet, or thin tight weaved NATO/Zulu strap, or leather that is tight to the skin. 9/14/24: The PIN on the strap buckle does not swing back far enough to allow clearance for the strap to feed through easily. Have to pick it with my finger tip to pull it back for clearance. The slot opening on the strap for the pin to come through was not folded at the right place before stitching. Getting the watch on/off is annoying. Both watch #1 & #2 had the same problem, although strap #1 was not as severe. Annoying. Will do some surgery with a fine tip soldering iron to open up that slot. CASE: I was expecting a weird lightness to the watch but it is heavier than my anticipation. I like the offset crown offset at the 4 o'clock position. Does not dig into my wrist like all my previous watches. My first 'ding' against a kitchen stone countertop left a "shine" mark at the raised edge by the glass that cannot be rub out. That is OK with me ... character. The recessed glass saved the otherwise impact to it. Subjectively, the case looks good. Added a 31mm tempered glass protector for the crystal. Purchased from AliExpress. About $2. Thickness of the glass almost came up to the height of the case rim. Clarity is great. Cannot tell that there is an added glass on top of the crystal. DIAL FACE: I specifically wanted a 13-24 (actually preferred a 00-23) marking. This watch has it. The 1-12 is large font. The 13-24 font is too small. It is my biggest annoyance. The minutes marking ... 5, 10, 15 ... etc., is not necessary. It's font is even smaller. Too tiny, why bother. LUME: Not that good. Not bright and not last a long time. SPRING BAR: Each side has TWO pairs of holes for the spring bar. Not sure why. Maybe I can fit 2 spring bars on each side for some security redundance. We'll see.

Good. Not Great. Some Shortfalls. Worth Considering
I wanted to take a little time and wear this watch and see how it performs before writing a review to ensure you have an accurate review vs someone who unboxed it and gave a visual review vs a REAL review: ACCURACY- time keeping seems pretty accurate. Granted I don’t have professional equipment to truly test accuracy, but after a couple weeks, it seems like it’s keeping time without much time gain or loss. This is likely due to the Seiko movement used in the watch. 5/5 rating for this as far as I can tell. POWER RESERVE- mind you this is an automatic watch (meaning your daily movement while wearing the watch will wind it which eliminates the need for a battery) and should have a reserve of 40ish hours according to the specs (meaning if you aren’t wearing it, it will keep running without needing a winding for 40ish hours). After testing, I was getting closer to 30 hours which wouldn’t be bad for a daily driver, but if you cycle between watches, it may be problematic without a winder. The automatic feature seems to work well but is a bit noisier than I expected. When I moved my wrist quickly, I could faintly hear and feel it wind. Not a big deal, but worth noting nonetheless. 3/5 rating due to this short fall in power reserve. TITANIUM CASE- Boderry touts a light weight watch due to the case being made of Titanium which I suppose saves a few grams, but the weight savings is pretty unnoticeable in my observation but still worth considering. 4/5 rating here due to not feeling much advantage with the change in material. NYLON WRIST BAND- The band is a NATO style strap that is 22mm wide and thick/rigid which was annoying to place on my wrist as the clasp struggled to get the clasp pin through the hole. Ultimately I ended up buying a leather strap from Benchmark Basics which made it much more comfortable for me to wear. There is a titanium bracelet option as well if you are interested in something a bit more formal looking. 2/5 rating as the nylon strap isn’t great compared to others I’ve used. LIMINOSITY- the luminosity / glow in the dark paint is virtually useless and doesn’t glow brightly nor does it last for long. This is definitely not a watch you’ll be able to read in low light for long. This gets a 1/5 star review as a result. For an affordable automatic watch, this is an okay option. Especially for a watch you will wear daily. But don’t get your hopes up for an heirloom either. It’s stylish but not flashy and seems like it will hold up well enough. Would I recommend this watch? Yes, with the caveat that buyers understand it’s not as amazing as reviews purport it to be. But for the price, it seems decent enough.

It’s a very nice watch
I would say it’s a good value for the money. The quality of materials exceeds my expectations.

Updated 6-22-2024 failed to self-wind
Updated review: About a month ago, It seems like it started losing time, 2-3 minutes a day. The self-winding mechanism has completely stopped, the only way to get it functioning again, is manually winding it daily. Really a nice looking watch, but now it's a failed watch if I forget to wind it, a real disappointment. -------- Original review: Quite a surprise, "I like your watch band! that looks so comfortable.", since I wear my watch on the inside of my left wrist. Well, it is very comfortable. I wore Seiko automatic watches for years/decades, some with big links, some with small links, and every one of them pulled hair - a little "ouch", part of the price of wearing a watch, I thought. These nylon bands are soft, don't pull hair, and just feel so comfortable, I forget I have it on. Easily the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. Always liked the automatic / self winding watch, they've been accurate enough for me... a couple of seconds a week, here and there, but there's no winding, no batteries (EMP proof), nothing to suddenly STOP, like batteries (unless the main spring breaks, never had that happen), and the movement looks good. I got the white dial with the light tan band, which sort of blends into the color of my wrist. It has these 2 little oval rings to keep the end of the band laying flat - what a neat idea! The oval rings just fold flat to the end of the band, and keep it all nice and tidy. No more hooking & opening on something you inadvertently brush by, like a metal band does. I really like this watch, it looks like it'll last a long time - the last thing I expected was compliments on the band, I was just looking for a decent time piece, besides a stupid cell phone / Iphone! Always glad to leave that digital leash at home/work and just enjoy the company of my wife, without interruptions.
