It's SLIGHTLY flatter than say Formula 4s. So they DO lock in better, but depending on your style you may not notice. Where they really shine though is in the outside and having a recessed nut. You can slam into and roll up curbs with zero issues. I also like this particular duro. The wheels are pretty grippy, but feel reliable on smoother skate parks. Definitely prefer these on my flat ground/curb board, but I can't see much benefit for transition skating.
