Redhead Revolution's Gingerlash Mascara (Honest Auburn) Warm Auburn Brown Mascara for Redheads Volumizing Lengthening Vegan Cruelty Free

It’s the best mascara I’ve ever used. And I’ve tried sooooo many. The formula is awesome. It’s not too heavy on my lashes, it doesn’t clump up, no crumbles throughout the day, and even holds up extremely well if I fall asleep in it. The color is a dream. I have copper red hair and black mascara has always been too harsh against my complexion. I finally get to have visible lashes that still appear more natural. And it doesn’t feel so dramatic to wear on my lower lashes everyday compared to black mascara. The brush applicator does a great job of spreading and coating each lash with minimal strokes. The pictures show two coats. Normally I only do one coat and it’s plenty, I just opted for 2 today because we had a team picture at work. I have included a picture of me without makeup for reference in the difference this mascara makes. Don’t mind the face lol it was the most recent makeup free pic I could find. I love this mascara so much that I actually took the time to take pictures and leave a review, something I rarely do but I feel like redheads everywhere need to know this is a solid purchase. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and have zero complaints. I believe I bought the darker shade of the two but now I want to try out the lighter shade too since I think it’ll be closer to my natural color and have so much confidence in this brand. Highly recommended!! I can’t provide enough positive feedback about this mascara.

As a natural redhead I am thrilled to have more choices in mascara colors. I’m not crazy about the applicator but I can work with it. It’s definitely something you can either wear a little of or build it on without looking like you’re wearing too much clumpy mascara. I’m excited to try the other colors. I’ve used enough brown mascara in my life and I’m thrilled to have options. Natural looking options.

Natural redhead here with fine texture but full volume blonde eyelashes. Purchased Honest Auburn, but may try the ginger. Im hopeful that Redhead Revolution checks out these reviews, as I am stoked to finally have a company that seems to genuinely want to make products that work for this small population, unlike the majority of the industry. Redheads typically have a range of blonde to auburn lashes and brows, but I’ve found that a lot have fine, very light lashes and eyebrows. In order to achieve a natural look, the typical black and black-brown mascaras end up having too much of a contrast at the lash line (leaving your lashes looking like they are floating off your eyes unless you fill in the lash line with liner or shadow). Redhead Revolution mascara is the first true auburn mascara that darkens my eyelashes in a more natural way so that I don’t have to overfill the lash line. I often find myself having to overwhelm my eyes and, as I’m approaching middle age, some days I find I look younger and more natural with less eye makeup on. Redhead Revolution mascara finally helped me achieve this! Here’s where I think the mascara needs some work: with finer lashes, you need a thinner, buildable consistency or you end up with “spider” lashes. The consistency of this mascara starts off a bit dry and it makes it tough to build without looking a little flaky. The color range is VERY helpful, but Im super hopeful Redhead Revolution would do some tweaking so each tube can build on finer lashes and have some staying power without caking.

This mascara is my tried and true! It has such a natural shade that gives a wonderful contrast to fair skin tones. It goes on easy, no clumping, and feels so light and effortless. I also struggle with Blepharitis and need to be very careful about types of products I put near my eyes, and this mascara has always been so gentle and gives no irritation. I first started using this about 3 years ago, have tried others off and on, but always come back to this because it truly is the best!

I had high hopes for this mascara but the darker shade just looks black on me. Way too dark for most redheads. It didn't go on very smooth either. Would not recommend. 3 months later edit: I'm raising this to 3 stars. The color is still way too dark and I still hate the texture but dang it really does have staying power. I'm going to order the lighter color and see how that goes.

No more black eyelashes! I’m a red-head and have always hated that there were no options for my strawberry lashes. Mine are very light and I’ve only always wanted to darken them to make them visible. This mascara has done just that. It holds up all day. Doesn’t flake and is easily removed. I do not have make-up sensitivities so I can’t really comment on that. It works great for me! I’ve been using this brand for two years!
