iFixit Metal Spudger Set - Opening and Prying Tools for Electronics Repair

Very nice. I almost went with 4 stars, because I think plastic tools would be more practical in many cases (although shortlived) to avoid scratching the device. However these are very nicely made and will last long so adding a disposable plastic one is easy enough.

I use these for cleanup of 3D printed items, they work great for what I'm using them for. Like all the iFixit tools I have, they are made very well.

I ordered these on a whim and they are very useful tools ! Price is down right cheap!!

Great tool set. I used them to open numerous laptops easily. Highly recommend them to the DIY’er.

Nice tools to have on hand to open up computers.

I don't know if this was a return or what but the tip was bent when it showed up. Good tools though.

These are the worst spudgers I've ever used, or possibly even seen. They are far too thick to be useful, and they are not sharpened to any kind of edge, just squared off and completely blunt. Oh, but don't get me wrong when I say "blunt" I don't mean that these are smoothed or polished - they have horrible burrs on every edge of the "blade" section and will likely ruin or horribly mar up anything you use them on, plastic or metal alike. I am floored that iFixit, a brand I respect and have purchased high-quality tools from many times before, would let this kind of lack of quality slide. The only saving grace is that these appear to be solid metal, and not chrome coated pot metal like cheaper spudgers, so I can at least fix them with by grinding in a tapered edge and polishing them smooth. Unless you are willing to do the same, skip these and look elsewhere.
