I bought this product to facilitate an easier way of getting sourdough loaves in and out of a Dutch oven. I was a bit concerned that the 'wings' would not allow the Dutch oven lid to seal properly, but after 4-5 loaves of bread, that is not an issue. Everything seals properly allowing steam to form in the Dutch oven and the bread to cook properly. The wings do allow the bread to be removed easily with no burnt fingers as with parchment paper. The silicon surface stays neutral and doesn't burn, and I think it is helping the bottom of the bread staying softer instead of the normal crust formed by parchment paper, which makes cutting slices easier. The price point, delivery timing and functionality make this a recommended product for bread bakers.

Used this bread sling for a very sticky attempt at bread and still worked great, bread came off easily after cooking. I left it in the entire baking time at 450 and still good. Easy to clean as well.

I just started my sourdough journey so I tried to get all the things I would need. Saw this sling and thought - what a great idea!!!! My baker friend who was teaching me always used parchment paper, but since I had the sling - she went ahead and used it. She LOVED it and said she would be getting one for herself. (I’m buying her one as a gift for teaching me.) No burnt bottoms! Just lift out. Save on parchment paper. Washes up easy and stores in the drawer! Easy to use and very cost effective. There is no smell and well made. Fits just right in my 6 qt Dutch oven.

good value for the money - just wished that the bottom covered about 30% more space. I love that these slings can be used repeatedly and that they hold up well in high heat. They are easy to use and the holes in the arms make it easy to bring the bread out.

These are great products and they really help out when baking in a dutch oven. They do get warm so be careful but I recommend to any baker

Works great! I don't have to worry about the dough sticking to the Dutch oven. I place a cookie sheet under my Dutch Oven while baking to give the bread a lighte crust. I love how easy it is to lift the loaf out after it is done baking.

I divided an orange two-pack of these silicone bread slings for a couple of my sourdough making friends. They were super happy with them. They said the slings are really easy to lift the bread loaves out of their Dutch ovens.They’re lightweight, well-made material like silpat mats, easy to clean. The slings roll up well and can be slipped into a small space for storage.
