I gave this Highland cow to my daughter for her birthday and it was an instant favorite. The plush is incredibly soft, well made, and the sweetest size for cuddling. She loves that we can warm it up at night or cool it down if she wants — it makes bedtime extra cozy and comforting. The quality is wonderful, the design is adorable, and it feels like it will hold up really well to lots of love. If you’re looking for a unique gift that will actually get used every day, this is it!

My microwave is 900 Watts so when I heat it, I do 60 seconds per the instructions. When I am cold and sitting in my recliner, I can hold it against my body, under my blankets and it will warm me up nicely. It doesn’t feel very hot to the touch, but I think the heat is more internal, radiates out and is longer lasting. I have a sinus face mask and it can get nastily hot even following the directions. My Hippo provides gentle, long-lasting, safe heat without any overpowering smell or electrical complications. It’s a great color, soft, and comforting even when unheated. Revommended.

I have had this Hippo for some time now and I absolutely love it. It is soft and smelled like lavender when it arrived. I haven’t put it in the microwave and used it as a heating pad and it works great. It works great as a cooking pad also. The lavender smell disappears after a couple of weeks. So, I just put a few drops of lavender oil on it and the smell is back and lasts for a couple of months then. I use it for my migraines and the lavender works great. Sometimes I also apply peppermint oil which also works great for migraines. This little Hippo is so versatile and you can use it for anything you want. Hot, cold packs, headaches, stress relief or just to cuddle and sleep. I washed it in a linen bag and it washed up great. I didn’t put it in the dryer. I just let it air dry and then put it in the dryer to soften up the fur. Then, re-applied some oils and it washed back to snuggle time. I just can’t say enough good things about this little hippo. It has so many different uses and is a great value. I would definitely recommend.

My100 year old mom with dementia absolutely loves the Highland Cow. He’s so ugly, he’s cute! 😝 The warmth is comforting to her (warmed it up about 70 seconds in the microwave), and she loves the lavender scent. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Bought as a gift, had a smell to it but after a few uses and airing out, it was fine.

Final verdict: 9/10. Would cuddle forever. Would recommend to anyone who needs their soul slightly melted by warmth and cuteness. Smell is ok, great for cramps. Don’t overheat in microwave.

Very cute but once it arrived didn’t think it was worth the price. But daughter loved it so kept it. So far quality seems great (although she’s older so it doesn’t get “roughed up”. It just sits on her bed

My 2 year old son loves this item! With being a boy he’s constantly bumping and bruising himself so this product was the best thing we’ve ever gotten him! It’s soothing for him, cute, not too heavy, SUPER soft, can be heated up (and smells like lavender) which my son loves for bedtime, or can be an ice pack which he loves for his bumps and boo-boos. He sleeps with it every night and carries it around during the day and absolutely loves it! He even named it “moo moo” lol. Cannot express enough how happy we are with this purchase. Well worth the price and shipped and arrived early/fast.
