Where do I plug them into?

They plug into the blinkers on the front of the mirror, if you have the right ones. If yours are still the factory ones on the front you'll have to splice them into those wires.

Do these only work as replacements to factory lights? Can they be installed in place of blanks on mirrors?

Only if the wire is there for it if not have to run your own wires for the blinker
