I purchased this part originally on June of 2025. 1 month later, it failed. I replaced it again with a new resistor and 2 weeks later another failure. This is a garbage part and each failure had the electrical burning smell associated. This is a fire hazard on the making. STAY AWAY!!!

Plugged in perfectly and working so far. Time will tell.

Had no idea why my 2004 Yukon XL AC/heater controls stopped working on a day that was over 100 degrees this past week! My AC blew hot air and would not change speeds and would not turn off the blower motor, even after I turned off my SUV and took the key out. I had to disconnect me vehicle battery every time I wasn't driving, ughh! After doing quick research I figured would try this part out as a first attempt. Looking at Google and YouTube it looked easy so had friend help me and it was replaced in about 15 minutes. Viola, it worked and now I have my AC and heater controls back!! Thank you so much for getting my part to me overnight! I ordered it late afternoon and next morning it arrived at 4am! Awesome!!

The replacement parts for this were wrong at Autozone and Advanced Auto Parts. The replacement parts they have will not fit, so I turned to Amazon and the picture looked identical to my part. It WORKS! The price is right, the installation is fairly simple. I used a flat head screwdriver to pull out the orange tab on the old broken module up underneath the passenger dash (under glove compartment) to remove the old plug and this one snaps right in. I have heat and defrost again! My initial problem was the heater blower was not shutting off on my trailblazer when I turned the engine off/removed the key from the ignition. I had to pull the blower fuse out under the hood to shut it off and ordered this part for replacement and it worked. Just in time for the cold weather! Next day delivery, no issues for a week now, will update if anything changes. One thing is certain, I won't buy a Chevy again...(one of multiple issues with this vehicle).
