Amara View Replacement Headgear, Amara Headgear Strap, Amara View CPAP Mask Headgear, Standard Size (Without Mask)

Recently purchased this headset strap after the original manufacturer's wore out. I really like this one so far after sleeping with it for the last few nights and certaintly seems to be very good value for the price that you pay for it. The fit and size of the headgear strap is on par with the OEM strap that you either get with your CPAP unit or get as a replacement. No leaks or fit issues detected as the strap seems to fir well, and the velcro also seems to hold up really well compared to the OEM strap. Time will tell on durability, but so far, this is a well functional, and stable headgear strap that will definitely get the job done.

Not as good as OEM unit, but did the job

This is the second time I have purchased this replacement headgear. It's the only one my husband likes, and he's tried a few. He loves the way it fits, the great hold of the Velcro, the comfort, and it lasts him for about a year before he needs a new one.

This is a good way to have new gear that isn’t stretched out. If u can’t get RX from doc for head gear, it’s a good alternative while we washed his original one in the hopes it didn’t ruin his original one but if it did this would definitely get u through. Arrived the very day after purchasing. Throughly researched into the different types amazon sells this one is the closest thing to his original style within our budget right now. My fiancé uses this and he says the only crappy part is he has to tighten down pretty tightly (but he has padding he put a between the straps and his face so he doesn’t have lines the next morning so maybe if he didn’t use the padding he wouldn’t have to and worry about leaks). He normally uses the Philips respironics Amara view and he has a pretty big head lol. He said it fits comfortably but it’s a little bit bigger than the original one so he does have to tighten more. I’ve noticed the new one is more square on straps and is padded more than original style. He has sensitive skin and the head gear doesn’t cause any issues. It’s easy to use. It doesn’t come with any thing else no clips just head gear. The Velcro stays strapped. The reason for 4stars is because it’s a tad more stretchy than original gear which he’s tighten down pretty tightly for a perfect fit but it’s great value for the money! He’s been using about 2weeks and his old gear is washed and dry but he still hasn’t wanted to switch back so it must be working fine. I’m easily waken by his mask leaks and this one hasn’t let silicone part leak. (I also purchased a new silicone mouth piece separately)
