I dislike the cut to fit part and wish they came precut with minimal cutting for sizing. I don't live near a cobbler who does red bottoms so this will have to do in the meantime. I wore them one day for various errands intermittently before wearing for an event one evening. They didn't last through the evening and starting peeling at the toe at dinner (so about 1- 2 hours into the night). They need to be stickier to last more than 1 1/2 wears.
