Portable Fume Extractor

One of the best fans for the price. really great that it has a light also. you can change the lighting color and dim. Very sturdy magnet base or also comes with screw clamp type bracket

I'm blown away with how well built this is and how well it works. I am so used to getting absolute junk off of Amazon lately with all these no-name brands. I had heard of SainSmart before because I used some of their pre-made 8 channel relay boards for a Christmas light project and they worked well. I was not expecting to get something that is all-metal, sturdy, bright, and does an excellent job of sucking up smoke. Even the magnet on this thing is crazy strong, I accidentally stuck it to something metal on my desk and had to use 2 hands to slowly pull it off. All in all this is one of those products that really is worth every penny. Note that even though it has excellent airflow, there are physical limitations on how far the suction can "reach". You will need to move the fan as close to the soldering as you can for it to work best.

Works as advertised! Very impressed with the quality, and used correctly the fume extractor does what is supposed to. Wish I had known about this sooner!

Great soldering fan with lighting. The reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because I was expecting a bit more suction. The carbon filter which is needed reduces the air flow and as long as you keep the fan 6 inches from your work it does great. The goose neck is strong and holds its position well, the lighting is adjustable and bright, it comes with a clamp and a very good magnet base, and the cord is plenty long enough. I would definitely recommend this fan/light for soldering.

Need more suction

I use this for doing my nails lol because the light is excellent and it has a fume extractor. I can clamp it anywhere - table or my bed frame so I can do nails in comfort. Now the room doesn’t smell like nail polish. And because it extracts fumes vs blowing air like a fan, absolutely no air bubbles appear on my manicure!

Bright light and quiet fan. Easy to use and high quality. It’s a good value for the price and I love how it can be moved from spot to spot. It works well to remove the fumes from the glue I use to craft with.

Used for stained glass soldering indoors. Magnet is strong, but can move if too aggressive re-orienting the gooseneck. Light is bonus to help light workspace.

Points positifs : - la filtration de fumée fonctionne bien - la lumière est un vrai plus - lumière réglable en intensité et en "chaleur" d'éclairage (froid, chaud, mix) - petite télécommande sur le fil pour régler la lumière et/ou la ventilation - support aimanté ou avec une pince étaux - bras flexible pour être placé comme vous le souhaité !!! même avec l'aimant qui est assez puissant ! Points négatifs : - le bras flexible semble un peu fragile a sa base ... a voir avec le temps - ventilation un peu faible je trouve , mais suffisante ! Ok pour moi ! Je recommande !

Works well nice light settings. Fan is pretty strong. Nice having either clamp it or use magnetic base .

Does the job, however the light got so hot, you couldn’t touch it and it melted the plastic. Do not recommend

Mejor de lo que me esperaba, especialmente por otros comentarios que indicaban que no aspiraba bien. No se si es el caso pero estos se colocan cerca de la pieza que se este realizando la soldadura, no funcionara a medio metro de distancia obviamente. Para mi fue perfecto y con la ventaja adicional de las luces LED.
