I thought that I was going to be able to attach two sections of standard Oxygen feed tubing. More specifically, cut out about 2 feet of tubing from my 6 ft feed tubing that is connected to a 2 ft cannula tubing, thus making it a total of 4 ft which would work better with my O2 concentrator backpack. It is anything but "easy" to attach. I tried running the tubing under hot water to stretch it out to insert these connectors.... but no way. Then I used a bench grinder to grind down the diameter of the connectors. That sort of worked but a real pain and I can't guarantee that there are no leaks. What they need to make is a coupling, like what is used with copper pipe, and not a connector. A coupling would go on the outside of the tube and not the inside, duh.

These connectors are the tightest fit ever. They DO NOT come apart. My tubing is 50 feet long it gets caught on every thing, cooking oil jugs, coffee table legs, sofa legs, pictures, etc. I drag stuff behind me all the time (drives my wife crazy) and if its to heavy it snaps your head back. But these connectors stay connected
