I added a couple of Stainless cupholders I got on desertcart. They're centered 18 inches from the back of the table and 3 inches in from the sides. The top of the table is decently thick, and though it is MDF, it appears to be made from hardwood chips. The hole saw got hot punching the holes for the cupholders. I am a senior lady and found the instructions very good and with no other help assembled easily. The only complaint I have is with all the screws etc being black, the packages containing them should a sticker on them instead of a black stamped number which on some packages was very hard to read. I would definitely recommend this little table to anyone.
