Easy to install and better than the big brand names
This was purchased as a replacement for my Myson 2 channel central and hot water heating programmer. It's much easier to use that any of the myson products and has a big illuminated LCD display.

Good value timer.
I was initially dissapointed when timer arrived as there wasn't any installation instruction or a manual included in the box. However if you do a google search for "esi installation" you can download both in pdf format. Unit is smart looking. Installation was easy and set up is fairly straightforward. Good value. Shame no manual included as standard thus 4 stars.

Easy fit.
Easy to fit using the little paper template to mark out. Took about 15 mins. No sweat.

Back plate is standard so for most change overs it should be very easy
Nice compact two channel programmer, swap over fiom my original was easy. Looks good has a blue back light , and lots of options to progress, as well as holiday mode . Very good value

OK but with a design issue
Overall this a nice product, well made low price, elegant design with all the functionality you could need. It does however have one flaw that potential buyers should be aware of. Unlike the previous model which indicated if, say, the hot water was 'on' by a separate blue LED, this function is now indicated by lettering on the LCD screen. Problem is this lettering tiny, really small, you almost need a magnifying glass. Unless you mount it where you can get really close you just can't read the settings, even with the very nice back light on. So be warned.
