The light is also great - the option to change the tone of the light as well as the intensity is very useful, on dark winter mornings we tend to use the brightest, coolest option that seems closest to daylight to help us shrug off that sluggish feeling and get going for the day. Installation was simple - my husband is good with electrics so did ours himself but if you are not confident in this area then you would need a professional electrician to install them for you

This item was recommended by my son. I bought 4 (1 for the lounge and 3 for the bedrooms). Very easy to install as he'd already done his ones so my 4 were no problem. (That's what you have children for). The fan and light are totally adjustable via the remote which is a great idea. I like the fact that you can have different degrees of lighting depending on your setting. Very, very pleased with the fan in this heatwave, having found setting 1 or 2 is ideal for the night time and is enough to move the air around in the bedroom. I would recommend this item to everyone
