Each one has a threaded adjustment screw, so you can increase the tension without removing or repositioning the mounting screws. They feel durable, and the painted finish should help protect them from outdoor weather. I would definitely recommend these for coolers used at parties, camping trips, cookouts, or fishing. They helped keep my cooler sealed and cold the way it should be. I attached photos to show how I installed them. Definitely a great price best value for my money. And the size of a clamps fit well on my cooler.
