A very nice statue
A beautiful piece with excellent detail. I'm very pleased with it. There are a few caveats I'd like to mention, although they didn't result in a deduction in my star rating. (1) The lamp touches the eagle when hanging, and I'm worried about it banging against the eagle in the wind, so the plan is to use a double-stick pad or something like that to keep it still. (2) This is going to be placed at a grave site, and I wanted to secure it against dangers, both natural and human, so we went to the local landscaping materials supplier and rummaged through their field stone and flag stone. The attached picture shows the dry fit right before we started gluing everything together (I forgot to take a pic of the completed assembly … doh!), and we think it turned out to be a very nice piece. We used Gorilla construction adhesive, because it said it was okay on plastics, but we'll probably come back with some epoxy or natural stone adhesive to ensure that the rocks stay stuck together. (3) This was made in China. I understand the reality of the situation, but a piece like this made in the U.S. would be great. We'll see how long the little latern lasts, but the statue is cool and I'm glad I found it.

we love it with having four sons that served our country ...
we love it with having four sons that served our country for a total of 70 years we display our American flag and Air Force flag daily from the first day they went in to the last one to retire, and now we still fly those flags as very proud parents and Americans. The Eagle stands right under our flags in our front yard for anyone going by can see.

I do not have this eagle with the solar light lantern
It doesn't not light up at all but the statue it is nice

Better in person
LOVE this Eagle. It is going to sit at the base of my flag pole. The picture is great, but in person it is even better. Bought flag stone to stack and he will sit on top of it.
