Exactly what I needed for my sand table.

For the most part, this foam works like a charm. It is durable enough. My only problem is that I can never get my cuts to be clean. On the other hand, this is the first time I have ever used EVA craft foam. So beginners, brace yourselves. It is trial and error, just like anything else.

Thickness purchased: 6mm I have a 28″ tall cylindrical drum that's too long for typical drum bags. I have to use an unpadded duffel bag. I figured the foam sheet could be cut into two ~28"×~36″ pieces and the cut piece would fit around the drum. It fits just right. Luck of the draw. I thought about getting the 8mm foam, but the 6mm seems dense and tough enough to protect the instrument from anything but a seriously nasty impact. The foam came tightly rolled and took a couple of hours to flatten out. After that it still retained some of the curl. The 8mm might have been kind of difficult to flatten. It wasn't hard to cut but I wish I'd taken a suggestion seen on YouTube: Use a fresh super-sharp blade in the utility knife. I didn't, and the cut was a bit ragged. Ideally you want to get all the way through in a single cut. Some foam products of other brands got reviews in which some users complained about the smell. This foam did not have any bad odors.

Great quality… just what I was looking for. Firm foam the right balance between cushioning and stiffness. The foam sheet came rolled up in protective cling film and in a cardboard transport box.

Hago vivac. Las esterillas inflables que garantizan un buen aislamiento térmico a la vez que mucha comodidad tienen un inconveniente: Se pinchan fácilmente. Por tanto, se han de proteger con una capa adicional que proteja de los pinchazos a la vez que de la humedad y del frío. La espuma EVA de alta densidad de un mínimo grosor de 3mm es ideal. Me hubiera gustado un largo de al menos 190cm, pero con un0s 150cm se puede vivir.

I used the 6mm version to make a dew shield for my 10" Newtonian telescope, using a 5cm wide velcro tape which sticks very well on the foam. The foam is rigid enough so it's easy to make and maintain a tubular shape.

I used this as an underlay for my gaming table. It is the only roll I found that was wide enough to cover in a single piece, meaning no seams to worry about. It's firm with the right amount of give to make picking up cards and tokens easy!
