Quality, style, & performance
I bought the Slide Lite to go with my new Sony a6500 mirrorless camera. For me, the width of the strap is just right both functionally and aesthetically. It feels secure and sits comfortably either around my neck or as a sling strap (I don’t use it over one shoulder because that seems like the least secure method to me). The strap width of the Leash Lite is proportional to the size of my Sony which is more compact than a full-size DSLR. The black seat belt strapping material itself is very high quality. The sliding adjustment buckles in gun metal gray and the subtle red accents give it a handsome yet understated style. Style points are important to me. One prominent review here mentions a loosening of the base plate that goes into your camera’s tripod screw hole. This product comes with a rubbery gasket pad that is designed to add a compression/friction fit. However, even when I used that properly and really beared down on the screw, I found that it loosened a bit in a short time. It never loosened more than a 1/8 turn, but it made me nervous. I will be checking that routinely and will also see if I can find a small lock washer to keep that screw tight. I should add that I use a leather half case on my a6500. This case attaches to the camera through the same hole, and provides another “piggy back” hole for use on a tripod. Bottom line, I’m attaching the Slide Lite’s base plate to the hole on the leather case, not the camera. It may work perfectly if attached directly to the camera’s screw hole but that’s not my situation. I’m sticking with 5 stars in my rating because I’m not using the product exactly as intended, and because my issue is easily resolved by spending a few pennies on a lock washer. The Slide Lite stays on my camera almost all the time. I don’t take it off each time I put it into its case. I use an Amazon Basics sling bag and there’s just enough room for me to fit the camera and lens in there and push the loose strap in the remaining space. Other reviews say that the strap material is too stiff. Just go to your car and feel the seat belt material. If you believe that’s too stiff, then don’t be surprised when you receive your Slide Lite, because it will feel the same. To me, it’s perfect and exactly what I expected. Enough has been said to describe the design of the proprietary Anchor Link system. I will just add that my one concern before purchasing was the strength of the cords on each Anchor Link button. However when I received it and felt the stiffness and strength of that cord material, I was satisfied. It is easily sufficient for the weight of my camera even with a large lens attached. In fact it’s not just sufficient, it’s overkill but in a good, confidence-inspiring way. This is a fine product that will create additional pride of ownership every time you use it with your camera(s). To me, the price point was appropriate to the level of quality and styling it delivers. I expect to enjoy this Slide Lite for a long time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 One of the best camera straps on the market !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently purchased the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap in Black, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This camera strap is an absolute game-changer for my photography adventures. Its versatility and thoughtful design features have made it an indispensable tool for carrying my camera with ease and comfort. Firstly, the durable aluminum quick-adjuster handles are a true blessing. They allow me to keep my camera securely close to my body, no matter how I prefer to carry it—be it as a sling strap, shoulder strap, or a neck strap. The reconfigurability is a standout feature, and I can switch between the different styles in a matter of seconds, making it incredibly convenient for varying shooting scenarios. The 32mm wide seatbelt-style webbing provides exceptional comfort while keeping a low profile, and I appreciate the smart design choice of making one side smooth and the other gripped. This feature ensures the strap stays in place without any discomfort during long shoots or hikes. The new design anchors are a stroke of genius. Not only do they serve as a reminder of wear and tear, but they are also thinner, allowing me to use them in conjunction with my tripod. This eliminates the need to detach the strap when mounting the camera on a tripod—a small but crucial detail for efficient workflow. The Slide Lite's Anchor Link connection system is revolutionary, allowing me to reconfigure the strap as a sling, neck, or shoulder strap instantly. It's like having three straps in one, giving me the flexibility I need to adapt to various shooting conditions. Moreover, I must commend the total stability provided by the two configurable points of connection. This feature ensures that my camera stays in place at all times, even when I'm on the move or in challenging terrain. I've used it with heavy professional cameras and binoculars, and it holds them with confidence and reliability. The hyper-adjustable length of the strap is another highlight. With two quick-pull adjusters, I can easily find the perfect length for comfortable carrying, no matter my body shape or the type of gear I'm using. I also appreciate how smoothly the webbing glides over clothing, enabling quick and hassle-free access to my camera. It's a small but thoughtful detail that makes a significant difference when I need to grab my camera quickly for a fleeting moment. Finally, I love that the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap does away with bulky D-rings. Instead, it connects to strap loops or the bottom of the camera body using ultra low-profile Anchor Mount hardware. This enhances the overall sleek and streamlined design while ensuring maximum functionality. In conclusion, the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap is a must-have accessory for any photographer, amateur or professional. Its durability, versatility, and smart design features make it stand out from other camera straps on the market. Whether I'm on a casual photo walk or an intense photography expedition, this strap has proven to be a reliable companion. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a comfortable and efficient camera-carrying solution.

It's An Absolute Winner
What I love about the Slide Lite: I'm just an amateur photographaer , a poor one at that but I can recognize a nice strap when I see one. This strap has high versatility (Sling, Neck, Shoulder): The ability to instantly switch between sling, neck, and shoulder carry modes is a game-changer. The genius lies in the dual-sided webbing – one smooth side that glides effortlessly for quick camera access in sling mode, and a grippy, silicone-lined side that keeps the camera securely in place on your shoulder. This adaptability means I can adjust my carry style to suit any shooting situation, from quick street photography to longer hiking excursions. I have it in the sage color and I love the color. For me Peak Design's Anchor Link system is simply revolutionary. It's brilliant. The quick-release mechanism is incredibly secure, yet allows for near-instant attachment and detachment of the strap. This is a massive benefit when I want to use my camera on a tripod without the strap getting in the way, or quickly swap the strap between different camera bodies or even lenses. The Anchor Links themselves are incredibly strong, rated for up to 200 lbs, providing immense peace of mind. Plus, the updated design with visible wear indicators (black, yellow, red layers) is a thoughtful touch for safety. Comfort Without Bulk: Despite its robust build, the Slide Lite remains relatively lightweight and comfortable. The internally-padded webbing distributes weight effectively, preventing that dreaded neck or shoulder strain, even during extended shooting or carrying sessions. It strikes a fantastic balance, offering ample support without being overly bulky, which is perfect for lighter cameras. Effortless Adjustability: The quick-pull adjusters are incredibly intuitive and allow for rapid length adjustments with just one hand. Whether I'm cinching it up for a more secure carry while moving, or loosening it to bring the camera to my eye, the process is smooth and seamless. Premium Build Quality: From the seatbelt-style nylon webbing to the anodized aluminum and glass-reinforced nylon hardware, every component of the Slide Lite exudes quality. It feels durable and well-made, assuring me that it will stand up to the rigors of regular use for years to come. The Verdict: The Peak Design Slide Lite camera strap is an absolute winner. It's clear that a lot of thought and innovation went into its design. If you're looking for a versatile, comfortable, secure, and incredibly well-made camera strap that will significantly improve your photography workflow, the Slide Lite is an investment you won't regret. It truly lives up to Peak Design's reputation for creating radical, lifetime-lasting gear.

Amazing! All the great reviews are true!
I can't say I'm surprised with the level of quality and the fine details... $40+ bucks for a camera strap is not something I'd normally consider. But after scouring the web and finding nothing but wildly positive reviews on both the strap, the company, their values, and all of their products, plus researching used options, I ended up finding that these straps are so durable, useful, comfortable, and designed so ingeniously... (PLUS the huge % of reviews claiming that these straps are manufactured so well that it was more than they'd ever need for anything less than full-on pro equipment) meant that there is only a tiny depreciation of value overall even for items with years of use. I decided to bite the bullet and buy new. I'm happy I did. Every good thing I've read is true. I love the quality, style, the button system, the features, the versatility, the security, and anything else I might have forgotten to mention. This is one of the few companies out there today that seems to aspire to do business the way older folks fondly recall as a relic of the past... where they make their products so well that you can buy from them knowing you wont be running back to the store in 2 years for a replacement when the shoddy materials or worksmanship inevitably fails. These are the kind of products that you can almost certainly count on withstanding decades of use, possibly a whole lifetime. Their stuff is sold at a premium, but the quality says it all. I'll gladly pay 2x as much for a product that is designed to last 20x longer (or more) than the majority of stuff on the market. When you look at it that way, this stuff is a bargain compared to something you'd have to buy every couple of years when it breaks or falls apart. Just my two cents.

Elevate Your Photography Experience
Photography enthusiasts know the importance of comfort and functionality when it comes to gear, and the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap certainly delivers. While it comes with a higher price tag, its quality and ease of use justify the investment—earning it a solid 4-star rating from me. First impressions are crucial, and the Slide Lite does not disappoint. Crafted with top-notch materials, this strap feels robust yet lightweight, ensuring you can carry your camera without feeling weighed down. Its sleek design is not just for aesthetics; it seamlessly integrates with your gear, making it an attractive addition to your setup. One of the standout features of the Slide Lite is its versatility. The quick-adjust capability allows photographers to switch from a sling-style carry to a neck strap in seconds, accommodating various shooting styles and personal preferences. Whether you're navigating a bustling city or capturing a serene landscape, the Slide Lite adjusts to your needs, offering both function and comfort. However, no product is without its drawbacks. While the price may be steep for those on a tight budget, the quality of materials and the overall design make it worth considering for serious photographers looking for reliability. Additionally, I found that after extended use, the strap could feel slightly cumbersome around the neck, especially with heavier camera setups. In conclusion, the Peak Design Slide Lite Camera Strap is an excellent investment for those prepared to splurge a bit. Its user-friendly design, comfortable wear, and practical features make it a standout choice for photographers at any level. If you’re ready to elevate your photography game and don’t mind paying a premium for quality, the Slide Lite is definitely worth checking out.

Rolls-Royce of camera straps
Hey fellow shutterbugs! If you're scoping out the scene for camera straps and landed on the Peak Design Slide Lite, let me share a slice of my experience. Now, I get it, the price tag may give you a bit of a pause. I mean, it's just a strap, right? But trust me when I say, this isn’t just any strap. It's like comparing an off-the-rack shirt with a tailored suit. First up, the build quality. It's like the Rolls-Royce of camera straps. The stitching, the materials, the little design nuances – everything screams premium. This isn't one of those 'use-and-throw-after-a-few-months' kind of deals. We're talking long-term commitment. Now, to the real-world application. I've been romancing the streets with my Panasonic LUMIX S5 IIX (what a camera, right?), trying to capture the essence of the hustle and bustle. The whole run-and-gun street photography thing can be super demanding, and you need gear that's up to the challenge. Enter the Slide Lite. The way it allows you to swiftly slide and reposition your camera? Pure gold! You're always ready for that split-second moment. The strap also distributes the weight of the camera brilliantly, which means no more awkward neck cramps or shoulder pains after a long day out shooting. Plus, the slick black look is both subtle and stylish – it doesn't scream "look at me!" but has that cool, understated elegance. So, bottom line? If you're teetering on the fence because of the price, just take the leap. It's an investment in comfort, functionality, and style. And if you're as passionate about your photography as I am, you know it's worth every penny. Happy shooting, folks! 🖤📷🌆

Very high quality strap.
I was very impressed with the quality of the camera strap. I also really liked the various options to connect it to my camera. Finally the ability to extend or contract the strap quite easily makes it very versatile. I do hope that the connectors work with the wear and tare I intend to give it,

Disappointed by the color
The color completely differs from every advertise, it's not Coyote, it's like a reflective goldish.
