Sunco 12 Pack 6 Inch Canless LED Recessed Lights, 5CCT, 14W, Dimmable

My home was installed with sunco lights, and I bought it for replacing a broken light. The install process is super easy, the connector has error proof design and snapping the light to the ceiling is easy. The light looks a little brighter than my original sunco which is a plus and I plan to replace all lights. the room with this new ones to get brighter. The 12 pack is a good deal and I have backup parts in case any of my lights breaks again

I am pleased with the lights BUT the instructions say to drill a 6-1/8" hole which is WAYYYYY to big. The rim of the LED can barely cover an 6-1/8" hole. A 5-3/4" to 6" hole fits much better. Very easy to connect electrically. A note for those who may not know: the Kelvin settings 2000-6000k are not brightness settings but COLOR settings. If you want change the brightness you need to put them on a dimmer switch.

Great looking fixture with a true recessed look!

I just installed a pack of 12 in my living room as a DIY. 2 lights were installed under a ceiling joist without any problem. The all fit snugly against the ceiling. All lights worked without any problem. I chose 3000K for brightness and installed a dimmer switch. I am very happy with the lumination. There is no glare (baffle) and no flicker or humming that other reviews have noted. The components seem to be "cost-effective". The connector chord from the junction box is much shorter than other flat LEDS. There is no grounding wire. The junction box itself was the weakest point. Thin Plastic. Lid is not very secure. The punch-outs are too big, at least for Romex 12 gauge. There is not much room in the junction box itself. Maybe would be better with smaller wire. I used lever connectors and just I taped the box cover with duct tape. Overall, would recommend. Good value for the price.

Funcionan muy bien, buen diseño, sooo un detalle, sigue las instrucciones para utilizarlas con dimmers ya que no todos trabajan apropiadamente, el manual trae los recomendados. También recomiendo hacer el agujero un poco más pequeño de lo que dice el manual ya que quedan bien y no corres riesgos de no cubrir todo el contorno.

I replaced all 10 of my 65W kitchen recessed lights with these and I love how bright those are, all while consuming only a small portion of what the old bulbs were (650W vs 130W!). The installation process does require some getting used to and I wish the included instruction was better, because at least to me it was pretty useless and I had to figure everything out all by myself (surprisingly I couldn't find any videos on youtube either), but after you do that once, the next ones take only ~30 seconds to install (plus a few more minutes to switch the holders from the default 5'' to 6''). I also don't hear any buzzing from the dimmer even though the dimmer is not the LED-based since I didn't replace it yet (well, maybe just a very subtle buzzing if you listen to it closely). All in all - seems to be a great deal considering the price (no way to tell how reliable they are at this point, but the warranty is 7 years I believe).

I have these in my kitchen and dining room. I’m so in love with these. Thinking of buying for entire house. Makes everything so bright.

The lights work well so I rated it a 3. Here are the problems: the holes required are an odd size, 6.33 inches. The should either make a hole saw for this or change the light housing to support this size. Cannot find the correct size for a reasonable price., Second major issue is the junction box is about a quarter of the size as the Halo junction box. For a DIY person, connecting lights in series, with code wiring is not feasible. Just does not fit. It is fine for an end device but not in series. I would have not purchased these if I realized how small the junction boxes are. I contacted customer service at Sunco (via email) and basically got...... thanks for the feedback

I ordered these to upgrade the look and efficiency of the ugly pot lights with big clunky, hot, and energy wasting incandescent bulbs. Easy to install and look great.

There is more than one light that does not work, damaged goods

I didn’t think these lights would be so bright because they are only 25 watt. I put them in a Sputnik light so 6 of them. The room is super bright, too bright for a bedroom but they look good in the fixture.

These bulbs are a direct replacement for standard vanity bulbs. They are super bright. I opted for the bright white (5000K), but of your preference is warm white opt for something in the 2500-3000K range. I would buy again.
