Running Board Emergency Lights

Really bright day or night. 3M adhesive is strong on clean surface and wiring was easy to run on a compatible with ram 1500. Lots of flash patterns.

I became skeptical Once getting the strips quality looks pretty cheap. I tried them before installing. Bright, true red and blue and different functions. Small kit to bolt it into place as well. I installed it with the double sided that came with it I didn't use the bolting down kit. The adhesive is actually pretty strong, and perfect location for my vehicle (frontier) ran the wiring, through the firewall and used the 12v, hard wiring wouldn't work, everything was great and many of the officers that I did details with liked the strip over having a couple of blocks on the side. Over all impressed with how bright they are, easy to install, durability over the appearance.

I got these originally for one of my trucks, then when I saw how bright they are during the day and night, I knew I had to get another set for my other truck. If you want bright side runner lights and don’t want to pay a high premium price from a manufacturer like Whelen, these are the best lights you can get for the value. They stick right on and will never fall off due to the strong adhesive, and they look amazing. The quality of the lights are amazing for the price of these running board strobes as well thanks to the bright LEDs! Recommend these 100%

I purchased these hoping they were going to add some lighting to the side of my fleet vehicles and decided to give these a try. Being that our fleet vehicles make frequent stops along roadways and highway for inspections. Right out of the box seemed to be decent. I throughly cleaned the area where directions instruct for installation. Installed the light strips with two supplied brackets on both strips and screws on the end of the strips. The lights were installed in a climate controlled shop. The next morning pulled out of the shop and took a 15 mile drive at approximately 45 mph and heard a loud noise and saw the cord pull then snap. Apparently, the adhesive failed and flew underneath the back tire of the truck. The adhesive was still on the side of the truck but the light strip on the passenger side was gone with the wind. And the drivers side ways barley still on. When illuminated they were decently bright. I guess I will be searching for a similar product for the rest of my fleet vehicles. Apparently, I can’t return them since the one of the strips is who knows where. Did not even last 12 hours on the vehicle. I really wished they worked. I would hope they make it right.

Had these in my truck for a while they seem to be doing great! They r bright. A few different patterns. Use for vehicle transporting on the side of the road sometimes. But nice and bright.

Theyre really bright, loved having them on. Used the strobes for plowing but after one year they no longer work. One side had 1 single LED out and that compromised the whole strip and the strobe feature stopped working

I had previously asked whether these can be cut to size. The answer, without exception, was no. I have added the red/white to my Sequoia luggage rack on the left and right side - the 70" was perfect in length. I added a third to my existing 52" curved white LED light bar. But since the 70" was too long, I had to cut the strip. Since the end with the cables seems to be fused in plastic, I opted to remove the opposite end. I cut the plastic tube without damaging the LED strip. I then pulled the strip out as far as it would go (stretching it), and cut it. This let the strip slide back into the tubing by about 1/2". I then sealed the open tubing with clear caulking. It is important not to allow the tubing/strip to experience any temperature changes while the caulk dries - else it will suck it in (if it gets cooler) or push it out (if it gets hotter). The results are fantastically bright LEDs above the roofline that can be seen from hundreds of yards away. In fact, these were brighter than the mounted emergency light bars I had previously installed - so I removed them. The beauty is that the strips all but vanish against the black luggage rack and light bar - until they're turned on. And with the larger light bars gone, I don't look quite so dorky/obvious. I used standard rubbing alcohol with paper towels to prep the surfaces. The 3M VHB tape on the back of the strips are really stuck on there. The luggage rack is relatively smooth, so I expect them to hold without any further adhesive measures (i.e. zip ties or screws).

These are a lot more impressive than I would have expected for the price. They stand up to the “name brands” all day! I have used them for a couple months now without any issue. They are bright in the day light and the flash patterns are eye catching. I mounted under the kick plate on my truck.

When the temperature goes down for low -20 only half of them work. As the days warm up, then they start to work. Some days when they’re cold the flash patterns don’t work.
