It's a bit fiddly to set up but for the price and it being aluminum, I can't complain. My gripe with it is that it's really difficult to keep the tension on your stretched fabric. When pressing a tufting gun against it, the fabric just somehow slips thorugh and you have to readjust the tension. The pi s are also not sharp enough to pierce thoruvh the fabric to hold it and you need to use a lot of force to snap it in (or twist it in). Made my hands tired before I even started tufting.
