Slightly tapered bottom -- I presume so you don't punish those silicone corners with a right angle over time -- so I knew I wouldn't get a true cube. (Not a big deal, you just put that tapered face on the bottom of your drinkware -- no one will know.)Takes a long time to fully freeze, but that's not the mold's fault.Ice ejects well enough. It's a push, surely more work than a 2" mold, but I'm not a big dude and I pulled it off without much fuss.What I *wasn't* expecting was a flimsy design. The device needs to be flexible enough to eject, but this one was far too flexible for the amount of payload. See top view in photo. The dividers are way too thin / wobbly, and that lets the outer larger walls go all parallelogram-like. How the water went in is how it froze (see photo), and now I've got wonky parallelogram ice cubes that do not fit my drinkware without filing the corners down.I must say I'm quite disappointed and would not recommend these -- almost expressly for this reason.Happy cocktail making, all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy & sooo many useful ideas! *by L***P on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2019* This project was for my daughter's bridal shower. They fill easily and last a long time. The only thing is that they are so big that they won’t even fit in a tumbler.
