I bought this adapter to enable me to use my USB C charger with a USB A to USB C cable and so far, it has worked very well. I bought this USB-C OTG adapter for a specific reason: I wanted to be able to use the adapter without removing my phone from its case. Most other USB-C adapters have their USB-C connector flush with the adapter. So you can't use them with your phone if your phone is still in its case, because the port will be recessed and the adapter won't reach. This adapter works well. When I plugged it into my phone (still in its case), the phone immediately recognized both devices I tried with it (a USB thumb drive and a K-DCAN connector). So the OTG works. I'm happy.

I have been using another (well-reviewed and seemingly well-manufactured) brand of USB-C to USB-A adapters for a couple of years and for the most part, they’ve served me well. Where I’ve noticed issues with the other brand of USB-C to USB-A adapter is when I attach a Logitech Unifying receiver dongle (which is paired with a high-end Logitech mouse) to the adapter and then plug it into my computer’s USB-C port: the cursor sometimes feels like it’s stuttering or halting ever so slightly when I’m moving my mouse, and this detracts from me getting precise control from my mouse. For a variety of reasons, I suspect this issue is caused by radio signal interference problems with how the other brand of USB-C to USB-A adapter may not be adequately shielded in the inside of the adapter. Adequate shielding would (should?) prevent interference issues with the Logitech Unifying receiver. I just attached my Logitech Unifying receiver into the UGREEN USB-C to USB-A adapter and plugged the adapter into my computer and there is no longer any hint of the cursor feeling like it’s stuttering or halting ever so slightly. Problem seems to be solved; time will tell. Thank you, UGREEN, for making/sourcing a well-engineered and well-manufactured USB-C to USB-A adapter, at a reasonable price!

The USB to USB-C adapter is an essential part of a travel kit. It removes the need to travel with an extra travel charger. Adapter also provides access to your devices when using someone else’s or older flash drives. It is a 3.2 gen which allows a 10 GB per second high-speed data transfer which also allows you to connect a multitude of devices including game controllers, keyboards and peripheral devices. It is small and light and works on all USB-C devices regardless of brand. The adapter also fits phone cases with less than a 2 mm thickness. This is a OTG (on the go) protocol device make sure your device is compatible.

It does what it is supposed to do. It is not durable enough to last forever, especially if you plug in and out frequently or travel hard, but it will do its job reliably for a few years and is the best combination of small size, light weight, reliable function and low price I have tried.

UGREEN enttäuscht hier absolut nicht. Meine Erfahrungen: Echte 10Gbps Speed: Viele günstige Adapter drosseln die Geschwindigkeit auf USB 2.0 oder 3.0 Niveau. Dieser hier hält, was er verspricht. Beim Verschieben großer Videodateien von meiner externen SSD konnte ich keinen Geschwindigkeitsverlust feststellen. Kompaktes Design: Die Adapter sind so schmal, dass sie an meinem MacBook Pro beide nebeneinander in die USB-C Ports passen, ohne sich gegenseitig zu blockieren. Das ist bei vielen klobigeren Modellen oft ein Problem. Hochwertige Haptik: Das Gehäuse besteht aus Aluminium, was nicht nur edel aussieht, sondern auch die Wärme bei schnellen Datentransfers gut ableitet. Nichts wackelt, die Stecker sitzen stramm und sicher. OTG-Funktion: Funktioniert tadellos an meinem Smartphone. Einfach einstecken, USB-Stick dran und die Urlaubsfotos sind in Sekunden gesichert. For the price, these adapters are an absolute bargain. You get two in the pack, and they feel much better made than I expected. The build quality is solid and they look like they’ll last, although only time will tell. I bought them to use with my ROG Xbox Ally X and Razer Raiju V3 Pro controller, and they’ve worked perfectly from day one. I’ve experienced no connection issues, no input lag, and everything just works as it should. There’s not much more you can ask for from a simple adapter. Great quality, excellent value for money, and I’d happily recommend them.
