I love the bars (no issue at all with them) but more order arrived unsealed (outside packaging fine) with 3 bars missing.

Don't usually like berry food but this is really nice and enjoyed it was chewy instead of a hard bar

These bars have proven to be an excellent addition to my pre and post-workout routine, providing the energy and nutrition I need to maximize my performance. Upon receiving the box, I was pleasantly surprised to find 12 bars inside. Each bar was larger than I expected, weighing in at 55g. Despite my initial concerns about the size, I was pleased to discover that they are surprisingly filling, making them a substantial and satisfying snack. One of the standout features of these bars is their delightful texture. They strike a perfect balance between crunchy and chewy, which adds an enjoyable element to the overall experience. And unlike some overly chewy bars, these won't put your teeth at risk. The flavour of these protein bars is just right. They aren't overly sweet, which I appreciate, as it allows me to enjoy them without feeling like I'm consuming excessive amounts of sugar. While the taste of berries could have been more pronounced, it wasn't a major drawback and didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. One potential concern for buyers might be the initial price, which can appear a bit expensive. However, when you consider that each bar contains 18g of protein, the cost becomes justified. In comparison to cheaper alternatives with lower protein content, these bars offer a better protein-to-cost ratio.

Optimum is a well-known & trustworthy name in the world of nutritional aid products, and this pack of protein bars is no exception. The twelve bars arrived in a nice looking cardboard box, and everything you could possibly want to know about the bars is printed onto the box and each bar’s wrapper. I’m not a huge fan of this particular flavouring but I have no real problem with them from a snack perspective and they’re enjoyable to eat with a good bit of chewiness and texture from the crispy bits. The chocolate flavouring is barely noticeable as the filling & berry flavouring quickly overpower everything else with too much sourness/tanginess for my tastes. I think the flavour could be much more clearly described. To be honest I’d go for another flavour if I were to purchase another box, though of course flavour is purely subjective at the end of the day. My complaint about the price point is one that affects pretty much every brand of protein bars, these are pretty typically priced for the quantity and size of the portions provided. I just think that if you’re buying bulk packs like these, you should be seeing a significant savings compared to buying them individually. If you can justify the expense of using these frequently or don't mind paying for an occasional tasty protein boost, these are completely fine as long as you don't mind a sour/tangy berry flavouring.
