Lightweight, Compact, and Perfect for Exploring
The Osprey Ultralight 20L Dry Stuff Pack was incredibly useful while I was sightseeing. It’s amazingly lightweight and folds down into a small pouch, which made it easy to pack and carry until I needed it. Once unfolded, it has plenty of space for essentials like a water bottle, camera, snacks, and a light jacket. The straps are surprisingly comfortable for such a minimalist pack—no digging or slipping, even after hours of walking. The material feels durable, and the waterproof design gave me peace of mind when the weather turned unpredictable. Overall, it’s the perfect travel companion: compact, functional, and comfortable. I’m really glad I brought it along!

The pack to carry when you don’t even know if you’ll need a pack.
First of all, this is a small pack that is designed to be lightweight and packs into itself. It’s not intended to be the height of durability, though the fabric holds up well. Good zipper quality and function. Comfortable to wear if you don’t weigh it down too heavily. Several compartments, but as a small pack, don’t expect a full pack’s worth of versatility. It’s not padded extremely because again, its purpose is to be packed into itself and remain compact until you need it. Excellent choice for emergency essentials for a day hike. Very well made for what it’s intended to be. Good price for what you get, too.

Packable waterproof travel backpack!
Purchased this backpack for a trip to Iceland and I'm very happy with my purchase. Lightweight, durable, and packs up small! This backpack fits a lot. It has the typical dry pack closure that you roll down. Has two exterior side pockets that fit my water bottle perfectly and one front zip pocket. I'm only 5'3 so I was worried it would be too large for my shoulders but it worked out great and I was able to adjust the straps easily, depending on how full the pack was. The great thing with a soft pack is you can fit jackets, hats, gloves, extra socks and snacks, and it stays light! Easy to wipe clean and held up great on all our hikes, kayaking, and being thrown around.

Outstanding pack layout
I really like this pack design. It's well thought out. This pack is a simple bucket style design common to all dry bags. The shoulder straps have a sternum strap to help with the weight and the buckle on that strap has a whistle embedded in it. The shoulder straps also have small loops to hang things from such as a water bottle using a carabiner. The bag has two cup holders with adjustable straps to secure your water bottle should you need it. There is a long zippered pocket on the outside that is not water proof but I think that pocket is there for things you might be using frequently and need a quick to reach pocket rather than water protection. Things like snacks, phone, small set of binoculars, or perhaps a poncho. The larger portion of the bag is water resistant, I have not tried immersing the bag but I have no doubts that it can weather a dunk in the lake. The problem is how long can it stay dry. When I looked at the interior seams they were all taped instead welded which makes me question the durability and performance of the bag over the long run. It works fine now but how long will it take for the tape to fail is anyone's guess. Although if this is an issue you can always reinforce the taped seams with other water proof tape. Another area that needs to be addressed is the thickness of the bag material. Osprey say it's made with 40 denier nylon, denier meaning thickness but the bag feels very thin, almost like umbrella type material. I hesitate to think what will happen if I take this bag out to the forest. It's a great hiking bag if you stick to the trail and don't plan on going off the reservation. In summary this bag is targeting an person who may be near a body of water or hiking in a humid environment. The pack is made to withstand daily wear and tear but I have doubts about how it will handle harsh brush. The pack design is superb with many features such as the strap loops, whistle and water bottle tensioning straps creating a well rounded product. I would suggest buying this if 1) weight is a premium to you 2) you are spending time near a pool or hiking in an area with unpredictable weather 3) You will not be going off the reservation and into the wilderness, sticking to hiking trails will help preserve this bag One more thing, here is a tip to prevent tearing the bag in case you are going to carry something sharp. Put a T-shirt to line the bottom of the bag or you can also put your sharp objects into a small stuff sack, this will dull the edge enough to prevent this backpack from being punctured.

Best portable dry bag
I bought this for the El Camino De Santiago pilgrimage in Spain. The bag is light as a feather, fully waterproof, and compresses into itself. It’s perfect for when you’re going to grab small groceries out in town. It’s also great for traveling in the airport and you need an extra day bag for extra space. Also good for going on a day hike, stuff a sweater or raincoat plus whatever else you want to take with you. Has two water bottle holders that stretch out to keep your bottles in place. The smaller bag has two separate compartments to keep your keys and wallet on one side and other things (flashlights, knives, multi tools) on the other. The thing I like most about this bag is that when I go hiking on certain trails out in Utah, sometimes you need to swim across a portion of the trail. The dry bag not only keeps your junk dry, but it also works as a flotation device. I usually keep it on my back and I lean back as a pillow on the water and kick with my legs. It’s a great all around day bag whether on the dirt trail or concrete jungle.

Very nice day pack to pack in a suitcase for traveling
This is the first ultralight backpack I've ever bought, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I took it on a cruise as a day pack for excursions, and it is perfect for that. It folds/rolls up very small for packing in a suitcase, and it holds everything you need for a day out - water, hat, sunglasses, keys, raincoat. There is absolutely no inner structure, though, so don't carry a tablet or anything fragile. The shoulder straps are not padded, but they are wide and comfortable for what I was carrying. If closed as designed, it keeps the contents dry in wet conditions.

Not very comfortable for big and tall
Its pretty expensive so I expected perfection. The front shoulders clip isn't adjustable so if you you want the blood to run to your arms you have to give up your airflow cause the strap is on your neck. Except that it's a nice and practical backpack.

Appears to be well made and relatively strong. Be aware though that it looks very wrinkly and creased unless it’s fairly fully. The darker the colour the better it looks.

Very lightweight and useful as a day pack when you're out hiking or camping. Given how light and flimsy it is it's still quite robust and very comfortable to carry a few kilos of load. Waterproof. Used to great effect when day hiking mountains
