Does this have a polished shinny finish?

The finish of the unit I got was exactly as pictured by Amazon,shiny and polished.

Is the bottom of the pot flat enough to work on a radiant glass top stove?

We do not have an induction stove, so we can't speak from experience. But............it is advertised as induction safe......so we think it can be used on an induction top stove. It does have a nice flat surface on the bottom and appears to make complete contact with the top of ourstove which is glass, just not an induction stove however.
