Kuat makes some amazing bicycle carriers and this is no exception. The rack is well packed and protected from dings or issues, and assembles extremely easily. I purchased this as it is one of the few carriers that handles fat bike tires, and it fit a Farley 7 with zero issues. Anyone with a fat tire bike or an e-bike will definitely get great value out of the large tire size accommodation. I appreciate that it comes with a keyed security cable of sufficient length, so you can travel and transport without worries of theft. Fair warning, though, this thing is heavy. There’s a tiny little wheel embedded by the hitch base, I presume because someone felt it would make it more transportable, but it’s kind of silly. Just plan on lifting 50lbs when you want to mount or remove it. I’ll admit I was a little nervous about just using two ratcheted tire holders to securely travel with my bike, but after a long and bumpy drive home, Kuat definitely made a solid carrier. Well worth the cost.

Very good product. Very stable and easy to use. However, if your bikes have bags on them you might want to consider upgrading to the version with built in tail lights. I retrofitted tail lights from a Curt brand lighting kit that I bought on Amazon.

I needed a bike rack for my 2022 Highlander with factory 2" hitch receiver. I read a lot of reviews on racks and decided on this product. Assembly and installation are extremely easy. The unit comes with a locking hitch pin. The included key fits both the pin and the included locking cable. The unit weighs about 65 pounds. Once attached a rotating cam provides a shake-free platform for carrying your bike. I have mounted two bicycles (Trek Marlin 5 MTB and Diamondback Vital 2 hybrid) and they are very secure. The bicycles do not move at all while traveling. The included locking cable provides added security and peace of mind when traveling down the road. The pistons themselves are very tight and adjust for various tire sizes. I bought a set of stick-on trailer lights to attach to the rack. I would recommend this rack to anyone. It is expensive, but I value my bicycles and the safety of others. I have absolutely no regret about buying this.
