I bought A pair of La-Z-Boy couches at an extreme discount because the original customer Backed out at the last minute and they were customized. After a few days I understood why the customer backed out because these are the most uncomfortable couches I’ve ever had. They have the upgraded memory foam seat cushions but There’s large gaps in between each of the cushions. They drove me crazy. For years I’ve been trying different things like yoga mats, mattress toppers, Memory, latex, All things that helped improve the comfort. I finally bit the bullet and decided I was going to remove the seat cushions and buy something to replace it. When I took measurements, I realized I needed a slim or cot sized mattress to fit in the couch frame. Somehow I ended up finding and choosing this one. I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit lengthwise But hearing some of the reviews say that it ran small was actually a good thing for me. It came packaged With extreme care. The directions were a nice touch and made me smile. I took off the plastic and within 10 minutes I couldn’t wait anymore and put it right on my couch. To get the height right I did add bottom layer of yoga mat. Then a layer of foam (in the form of a 4 inch topper I bought on sale) and then this mattress. I then placed a twin sized cooling mattress topper and topped it all off with a fitted cooling sheet. Then I sat down to test it out. Within seconds I knew i finally did it. I was already more comfortable than I had ever been on the original sofa. It was firm like a seat cushion should be & I don’t feel like I was sliding off the end when my feet are on the floor. After I was satisfied it passed the sitting test I tried laying down on it. I ended up falling asleep and had the best sleep on a couch since I purchase those godforsaken couches. I normally wait to write reviews after I’ve used the product for more than a week. However with this mattress, I’m writing this review the day after I set it up. I am so pleased with this setup now. I would call this mattress firm. I was worried about the 5 inches not being enough but I didn’t see a thicker option so I figured I’d tinker with other layers I’d accumulated in the past. Turns out the 5” is more than sufficient and makes it lightweight so that one person can easily move it around. I didn’t smell anything off putting. This seems like a well made product, it inflated quickly, has a protective cover that I haven’t removed yet as per instructions. I am assuming they mean Do not remove the cover while your mattress is in the inflation process. Once it’s fully inflated you can unzip cover and put it in washing machine. I read the cover is resistant to moisture and there’s no crinkling sounds that bothered me. I’m an extremely hot natured person. I use a fan at all times and thermostat set to 69 degrees year-round. . I was worried this mattress would make me hot but that wasn’t an issue. That could be due to the mattress or due to the Cooling mattress cover and fitted sheet I used on top which is also meant to be cooling. TLDR : If you need to rehab a seat cushions on a full sized sofa, and the measurements work for your frame, this is an EXCELLENT option. Not only will sitting on your couch be comfortable, But sleeping on your couch will be wonderful as well. If anything changes I’ll be sure to update.

If you're accustomed to a 14" pillow top mattress in California King, this is unlikely to be your cup of tea. Even though I am a big guy, I find this to be a remarkably comfy set-up, because it almost exactly replicates by favorite berth on my sail boat. All I need to do is find some way to replicate the motion of the waves and the sound of the water lapping on the hull, and I'll always sleep like a newborn. Two of these fit comfortably in my tiny guest bedroom, on appropriate metal frames. If I have a couple visiting, they can be pushed together and form a queen-size. I use a pair of nylon straps around the legs so the beds don't push apart. These are remarkably comfy, and certainly good value. In their original packaging, they are also simple to maneuver into tight spaces, so you won't need a moving crew to set them up. Sheets can be a difficulty, as the size is uncommon, but can be obtained. The size also suggests itself as a good day bed/lounger with a few pillows. The width is close to a standard sofa, so they are comfortable to sit on sideways so long as your back is supported by a pillow.

If I could give less than one star I would. We got this mattress July 25th, 2025 and it is now November 4th, 2025. My 13 year old had a bloody nose this morning and I had to strip the bed to clean everything as it had soaked through. I had heard before about some memory foam mattresses having fiberglass in them, and so I was aware enough to check the tag on the cover before removing it to wash. It did not say to not remove the cover. And maybe if I looked up the names of these things on the tag I would find out that they are fancy names for fiberglass, but I had no idea… We took off the cover so I could wash it and because my kid, being a hilarious 13 year old, brought the entire mattress down the steps saying “you said bring down EVERYTHING that had blood on it…” we not only removed the cover right over all of the bedding that was previously brought down, but also over the carpeted stairs. I helped bring the mattress back up and we plopped it down on the bed slats that have OPEN GAPS to the drawers beneath. I first saw how tore up the top of the mattress was and was surprised… then saw in the light of the room, the shiny fibers that were everywhere covering the mattress. I knew in that moment that this was going to be a big deal. Everything that mattress touched or was near is now covered in fiberglass, including ALL OF THE CLOTHES that are in the drawers under the bed, the furniture that we passed going back into the room, the carpet, what we were wearing, our skin, and our poor dog. The mattress is less than 4 months old. This is absolutely ridiculous. I googled to figure out what to do and it looks like there has been a lawsuit/ lawsuits against this brand (Zinus) because of this, although I have not confirmed. Be warned. It is not worth it. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

I bought the cot mattress and it fits my camping cot perfectly! it's firm enough to give me a good night's sleep, without my hips hitting the canvas of my cot. it's light enough I can carry it by myself, and it also fits my sofa to replace a bad cushion if I choose. there was no real smell to it when I opened it. it took about a day to fully expand up. I feel like it's an excellent value for the quality. I've had it about 4 months now and no noticeable compression or wear. I love the soft cover.

In the description, it said this mattress was great for a trundle bed. But it is way more narrow than I thought.. it works for what I need, but I wish that I had done a little more research on trundle bed mattresses

Firm and comfy. I am 6' 220lbs. Sleeping on my side I wouldn't know this is 5 inches thick. It is as comfortable or better than any mattress I've tried at any thickness.

As this came from US to Mexico and shipping and import fees were almost cost of the mattress I was sure to check outside of box, before accepting, to make sure I received the 5" and not a 4" as some people have reported. If it had been incorrect I would have refused delivery without opening. I unboxed, for it to expand, within a couple of hours after receiving. Within 5 hours it had achieved full loft of 5". The size is correct 30" X 75". As my bed frame won't be here for a few more days it will certainly have time to expand to it's fullest (air between cells) before using. I will be sleeping on this full time and using as sofa during day. After some use will report back on comfort. (I'm 5'7", 130 lbs. and I do like a firm mattress.) The tan cover is nice and it does have a zipper on back side that I plan to open to put heavy cardboard in because my frame has metal slats that are pretty far apart. You can purchase cot sized/narrow twin sized mattress covers/pads and sheets on Amazon to fit this mattress. I purchased one fitted sheet to cover an existing waterproof mattress pad that I'm cutting down to fit. I've ordered medium weight water repellent, indoor/outdoor fabric to make 2 covers, fitted but open on bottom, that I can take off weekly to wash, hang dry. I have one big and one medium dog who are allowed on furniture and I live in a beach/resort town in the tropics; humid, hot, salty sticky dust, and sand. So I will be commenting on how comfortable this is, as a sofa and bed, in a very humid and hot climate where much of year I only use AirCon on the hottest of nights. As I'm doing now, at night, I roll out an over sized velour beach towel to sleep on . *******I have a really good sense of smell. There was virtually no offending odor when I opened the plastic.**********

I’m really impressed with this mattress. Low cost - high comfort. I got it to replace a very old and shabby mattress in a used sofa bed. The mattress was an odd sized that was hard to match. This one fit perfectly in the frame. It took about 48 hours to fully expand. Odorless and comfy. I’m very happy with my purchase.
