Awesome impact, recommend.
Plenty of torque, great for travel, and shop use. Haven't found a luggage nut i couldn't remove. Great value for the money would recommend to everyone needing a quality impact.

Not strong as claimed
The RIGID 18V BRUSHLESS Cordless 4-Mode 1/2 in. HIGH-Torque Impact Wrench looks and feels solid. This impact gun is very heavy even without the battery attached. This impact gun is not that strong as claimed or stated. I can't remove any of the lug nuts on my old 2000 Toyota Camry; I have to break those lug nuts loose with a breaker bar first.

Totally happy with this tool. Rigid is the way to go if you aren't willing to pay extra for a name.

NO LSA lifetime warranty through this seller
To anyone ordering this Ridgid R86215B torque wrench. The product is good, however, with this seller the "lifetime or (LSA)" warranty Ridgid offers on this product is NOT available. However, for a few dollars more (159.00) tool only, from Home Depot this product does have a lifetime warranty. I found this out the hard way and am returning this item to the seller.

Excellent impact wrench — impressed enough that the LSA issue doesn't change my rating
I originally had concerns about this purchase because I discovered that the Amazon seller I purchased from is not an authorized RIDGID seller, so RIDGID would not approve the tool for their Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA). However, after actually using this RIDGID 18V Brushless High-Torque 1/2" Impact Wrench, I've changed my opinion of the purchase completely. This thing is a beast. I'm extremely impressed with the power and performance. It has done exactly what I bought it for, and for approximately $305 CAD, I think I got an excellent tool for the money. Yes, I would have preferred to have the Lifetime Service Agreement, and buyers should be aware that purchasing through a third-party Amazon seller may mean the tool does not qualify for the LSA. If the LSA is important to you, confirm eligibility before purchasing. For me, though, after seeing how well this impact performs and considering what I paid for it, I'm willing to forgo the LSA. I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy it again. 5 stars for the tool, its performance, and the value for the price.

It did not work. It was dead on arrival. Waiting for a refund.
This tool did not work at all. It was dead on arrival. I sent it back and I'm waiting on a refund. I went to my local home depot and bought the same tool for exactly the same price. I've learned my lesson about buying expensive tools online. It won't happen again.
