These are brilliant, so bright! I’m not sure if this is coincidence but cars seem a lot more careful when passing and leave more room in the dark… They seem to last a good long time and are very bright! The pedals themselves are also good and grippy and look pretty normal without the light bars during daylight. I wouldn’t risk taking these on the trail, or I’d certainly pop them in my pocket on the rough stuff, but that’s because they weren’t cheap and I’ve lost expensive lights before. That said, they do fit securely and I’d always use them to and from the trails in the dark. Gimmick? Possibly but you can’t make yourself visible enough IMHO!!

Seriously rugged high-quality pedals that are brighter than I’d ever anticipated. I’d heard these are good, but they’ve really exceeded all my expectations, and massively increase your visibility in every situation. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Really quality product well worth the money and the bigger base plate and grip is excellent
