Will the capture v3 work with any Arca Swiss plate? I have a number of them and would love to continue using those with this clip.

Our Capture V3 Clip will only work with Peak Design plates. Our Peak Design plates are Arca Swiss compatible for tripod purposes.

Will this work with a canon powershot g9 x mark ii?

Yes both should be fine. I just finished a week of hiking in Zion and Capitol Reef. I have a Canon 90D with a 15-85mm zoom and the weight is not an issue and it is really easy to use since mine is mounted on my backpack strap. I have taken many more pictures hiking since getting this since it is so convenient to use.

does this work with a manfrotto quick release plate? I notice that it's square and not rectangular.

You have to use the plate that comes with the clip. Using another manufacturer's plate on this clip will not work. The plate that comes with this clip will fit most Arca Swiss compatible heads. Just keep in mind that this plate is shallow compared to the Manfrotto plates, so be careful when camping onto a tripod head.

Does this work with the ulanzi f38 plates?

The Ulanzi Plates will not work with our Capture system, despite them copying many aspects of our systems, their products are not recognised as compatible with our unit.
